so the question then is, must the participant be present and of sound mind for the entire recording

like let's say I record something and I am an active participant, but then I leave to go to the restroom, and then I come back, is the part where I left to go to the restroom inadmissible? if so, when does the inadmissible part precisely start and end, and how would they even know whether I left at some other part?

or what if I don't leave, but I'm not really paying attention to goings-on, so I'm technically not participating?

what if the whole time I'm under the influence of something and really zonked out, drunk etc.? what if the thing I'm under the influence of is anesthesia?

people can remember things while under anesthesia, too...I know this because it happened to me personally, I vividly remember the feeling of the doctor pulling hard on my arm to re-set the bone (there was no pain, just someone firmly pulling on my arm)

if the rule as stated is "must be a participant OR have permission from a participant" then meeting the first criteria of being a consenting participant who is heavily under the influence of a substance could be considered enough

I think we're ready as a society to have a black couple or an asian couple in our ads. Ad agencies don't have to couple the minority to a white person to make it palatable or to pander to the whites.

Seeing 80% interracial couples in my laundry detergent ads, when in reality it's probably around 5%, breaks my immersion and make me question if the detergent will really remove those nasty spaghetti sauce stains.

It started when an insurance company gave David a quote — roughly $4,500 a year, if he bought the Chevy. He had a collision and a ticket or two on his record, which helped boost the premium.

Then, he had an idea. He asked the insurer what his costs would be if he were a woman. He was told his annual bill would sink to roughly $3,400 — a $1,100 difference.

"I was pretty angry about that. And I didn't feel like getting screwed over any more," he said.

"So I asked them to change my gender on my auto policy, and she's like, we can't do that."

After doing some research, he realized he needed a doctor's note to show the government he identifies as a woman, even though he doesn't.

"It was pretty simple," he said. "I just basically asked for it and told them that I identify as a woman, or I'd like to identify as a woman, and he wrote me the letter I wanted."

Under the rules in place at the time, Albertans needed to produce a doctor's note to switch the gender marker on their personal documents. In June, the government scrapped the doctor's note requirement for adults

All to save about $91 a month.
