He's a nepo baby who consistently sides with big business over the downtrodden and the under-privileged. He makes a small fortune off of an infomercial masquerading as an award ceremony, while also using it to hobnob with Hollywood elite and aggrandize himself. I'm convinced the only reason why he hasn't gone full masks off is because he's not dumb and understands that liberals spend money too. And also, because the only thing he really believes in is what will benefit him personally.

I hate having him as a high profile videogame spokesperson, but also can't say that the industry deserves better.

Also, in 2025, why do we need an E3 replacement? Why do we need a 3-4 hour commercial with endless gacha game ads and non-gameplay footage of games trying to be the next Call of Duty or follow the latest trend? Most of the major publishers like Nintendo and Sony already do their own E3-esque videos, sometimes multiple times a year. Even some of the smaller publishers and groups do their own videos these days. And I don't know about you, but I'd much rather watch a 30-60 minute video that's more targeted and more likely to have stuff I'm interested in.
