So 2 days ago I noticed a bump atop of my gums right above a cracked molar on the top left side of my face and it was a little painful/gave me a headache but a cold and flu handled it for the night and that was that.

Next morning the bump feels bigger, is decently painful and my cheek has swollen up a little, I take some Ibuprofen during the day and night and it helps but it's obviously got me worried at this point.

Today is up (technically it's midnight now) and I'm actually fine for like an hour or two and I falsely start to believe I must be getting better but I was so very wrong, the pills I took before bed must've lasted a long time because the pain eventually comes back stronger and the swelling is pretty noticeable.

Now obviously I know it's serious so why haven't I gone to the hospital? Because I'm broke and I have no medical plan.

Just thinking of going to a hospital so they can send me to a dentist and how much that would cost me is making sit in my house under an insane amount of pain with half a swollen face hoping it gets better in the morning, U.S.A woo.

I'm like 90% certain what I'm experiencing is a dental abscess because of the location it's at and the symptoms I'm experiencing, now why my dumbass never went to get that tooth dealt with before is exactly because of the reason above but also mixed with dash of childhood dentist trauma in which the numbing injection they used didn't work no matter how much they applied it and they just ripped out my tooth on some 1,2,3 go on 2 shit which just mentally scarred me for life.

I'm just in pain waiting for my pills to work since I can't sleep anyways and wanted to to share with anybody going thru some shit.

Went to the ER this morning when the roads were cleared, they gave me 4 pills and a shot and it was fast since there was seemingly nobody but me there when I got there.

They told me to get ibuprofen and penicilin v pottasium which I'm picking up later today and luckily it's not very expensive.

Then a follow up with a dentist.

In all I feel great right now and I'm glad I listened to ya'll about the severity of what I was dealing with, the bills are gonna be a humongous pain later but at least I will be alive and not in pain to deal with it.

Also I started on working towards goverment assistance so hopefully i get approved and don't have to shoulder all of it.

In reading about this shooting, there was another story about five men arrested for plotting a terror attack on a German Christmas market.

I do want to see a solid tightening of our gun laws; they're not as strict as people think. I also want to see the extreme right wing pushed back at a lot more than we have been doing as a country.

You think this shooting was carried out by someone on the far right? I really don't think so.

I don't know who did this. What I do know is the far right has been increasingly prevalent in raising the violence level in our culture and agitating for much looser gun laws, both of which contribute to the likelihood of this type of incident. Thus, this reinforces to me that they need to be countered more effectively, whether there was any direct involvement or not.
