If anybody's confused about why they went north-east instead of west as he said, he meant the country of "West". When the almighty Strch'prst, the fearmongerer of Htwljdrt created his empire, he used the Casarian (not to be confused with Gardsarian) map, which was rotated 30.56° clockwise and since according to the map the land he claimed was Eastwards, he named it "West". You people have obviously never read the original light novel and the Troll War on Trhjakar book series.

Wish you'd touch on the implications that Klug Klug himself had Berkel ancestry. Jijikigsek was a Tumtum that defected from the main branch taking with him a battalion of elite warriors westward on 420 of 69 TA Time, vowing revenge due to, according to him, being denied his rightful place as the leader of the Berkels. The author really made a point to describe Klug Klug as having the same exact features as Jijikigsek, with the slimy pink hair and green moldy teeth. I myself buy into the theory that they are one and the same, Jijikigsek having managed to retain his youth by sucking on the tentacle of the birb of Feldor Pass. I mean the geography basically gives it away-- was it mere coincidence that of all the places he thought to build a settlement, he went West? I think not. Klug Klug might just be planning an invasion to "retake" Arrrerror. Funnily enough, since the Kingdom itself only existed after his defection, and before the Berkels were generally a nomadic race.

Technically, it was the FOUR clans. The Tak-Tur remained in the Shadow of Gormtukeror but the other three Berkel clans disowned them. Depending on if you accept the expanded universe or not, you could even argue the Berkel that escaped the terror of Glug-Glug and fled to through Feldor Pass during the Second Moon of Kket are a fifth clan now, especially those who experienced The Transformation. But I digress. I guess this is a good introduction to the Lands of Kerkin IP

Love your video!

Small correction: In the limited special expanded edition of the compendium of the second trilogy, the author mentioned in appendix e that the 4th 'R' in Arrrerror was supposed to be silent. Thus pronounced more like, "Arrre-r-or".

Other than that, great video, very well researched and excellent quality!

It's a shame Netflix omitted the majority of this. The show feels pretty shallow compared to the deep and rich lore of the original works.

of course there's several thousand years of backstory left before we get to the first published work in the series

I have NEVER understood the avatar obsession, a mediocre film from a good creator, but...

I mean I just don't get the origin? is it because he's an amazing filmmaker that there was a built-in assumption that whatever he made would be worth enduring fandom? or do people actually and truly feel that this film resonates with them somehow?

Mindblown
