Decided not to bother. My efforts are better spend finding someone else. With the rugby player I risked being knocked out cold, with the Latina I spend 6 hours to make it work.

When I cut the date short with this one, it was the right call. I just didn't feel it for whatever reason. If I had I would've taken her to my place and not that coffee shop.
Already 3 new likes on the app after I changed up the profile yesterday that's a good haul for a monday. 

But first back to the gym for more gains. Might actually change the schedule up and do 3 sessions early next year for faster gains.
In the winter it's difficult to spend enough time walking outdoors. With most things I'm now at ~33% of the weight stack, starting at 5% or even 0%.
We keep adding 0.5kg - 1kg every week. 

It's funny that 40f is more dissapointed it didn't work than I did and was certainly more interested in me than I was in her at the date too. Bring this calm dominant energy and outfit to a date with a girl that "clicks" don't be too judgmental and I'm golden.

Half mast care post. There was a conversation about why my place doesn’t have posters or decorations and is fairly utilitarian. Sadly, the conversation wasn’t over CODEC. My reason is I’m not dragging all my junk from America over here. But it veered into a larger conversation and I said something akin to children inheriting it. And her response was very much against children. I don’t know how to feel about that. When I was her age, I probably felt the same. Now… you start feeling your mortality in your 30s. I’m open to it. There’s a divide in being at different points in life. 

That said, on the off chance I have children they’re forbidden from certain parts of my collection. Namely, all Sonic video games are off limits.

While mortality might set in, don't you also have this feeling that you don't want to spend the next 20 or so years raising 1 or 2 kids and spending a lot of energy on that? For me it'll depend entirely on the wom(a)en in my life and if she has a support network to look after the kid. 

My plan for 2026 is simple maxxing.

I also want to read more books next year.

No longer going to bother training people or lifting them up out of burnouts or personal problems. Nor running around like crazy to make this AI thing work for anyone but me. I'll continue to get rid of stuff I don't actually need or have long lost interest in.

I'm probably going to work 4 days for 20 weeks (feb - june) using my 150 left over vacation hours from this year.

Early today I bought the Switch 2 Pro controller from an electronics shop. I’m carrying it around in my bag, going on about my day. I’m to meet somebody for dinner later so I’m killing time in a different smaller electronics store closer to the restaurant.

No kidding there’s this mother talking to the staff about wanting to buy the controller. The shop is out of stock and the staff is trying to sell her on some third party junk. She seems confused and calls her son to see what she should do. I’m there thinking that I could sell this controller to this lady. Help her get her son, I assume, the Christmas present he wants. And I’m weighing that against how incredibly weird it would be for some foreign stranger asshole to randomly offer to sell a Switch 2 Pro controller he happened to have. Just because he overheard your struggle and watched Jingle All the Way two too many time. 

I settled on telling her about the first store I went to. How they had stock early that day and it was only 15 minutes away.

You're on the right path, women have completely filtered out nice guys and that would've been incredibly weird and 12 months ago that also would've been my first thought. But you would've ruined that "quest" she was on and made it too easy with handholding, think of it that way. Instead you were a helpful mentor that gave her a nudge in the right direction but she still completed the quest herself.

She had a case of the woman, didn't feel well, finally some time off with no obligations etc. so she opted for a night in with Netflix. Anyway surprised she gave me an explanation and that does sound like she has a taxing job at NATO. Anyway, the ball is in her court.

31f jumped on top of the pile. But she doesn't want to meet at dusk with a stranger at a beach bar she doesn't know. She was thinking lunch. Which is odd considering she lived in Istanbul and is very adventureous. Anyway changed it to a beach walk on sunday. ChatGPT thinks that was the right move. I was conflicted between genuine smart safety concerns and just fishing for attention or a free lunch. 

Turns out I was right, she bailed. We're going even more into the "don’t take women seriously" direction next time.
