Switch 2 kinda sucks ass so far. Its a guess if games are even on the cartridge or not. It cant even run Skyrim. At the very least on a positive note, its my Dragon Quest machine, which a 3ds was already able to do tho.

Less than a year and its Mario Kart, an all-time great platformer, Metroid and Pokémon. Only thing missing is Zelda and even that got a favorably received spinoff. I guess I have to question what you'd buy a Nintendo platform if you're not liking that. Underwhelming hardware, maybe, but again it's Nintendo. I will say I do think Skyrim was my most played S1 game.

The worst modern Mario Kart, one of the best platformer, a mediocre Metroid and Pokemon.  

I’m buying a Switch 2 for Bananza and portable Cyberpunk… but yeah.

Increasingly the pull is to make a “forever” game by way of procedural generation. Endless empty content. 

And No Man’s Sky and survival games are that. But they don’t really present as story and character focused RPGs.
