I can't imagine continuing to do this shit until I'm 65. I've been doing this for 18 years straight, and it's really began to mentally wear on me. Only have two off days in a week is a cruel fucking joke. Usually those two days are just spent trying to rest and recharge, when you want to accomplish other things in your life outside of work. They're also usually spread several days apart to avoid further burnout from working five or more days straight for two off.

Era, we aren't made for sacrificing so much time from our lives just to afford to survive.

The good news gave me hope they were using renewables for most of these data centers at the very least. I guess that's not even true for the USA though since President Clean Coal came around.
