Why is the media not spending all its time reporting a tipline tip with no evidence that was known about years ago?

- lantern

- carrot
on and on, as much as you want, then tell AI to generate 20 of each for you to sort through later, and every texture in your game has a candidate ready to review the next day
you could even automate dropping them into an existing scene for testing

This isn't directed at you fyi. It's just... how much circumstantial evidence do people need at this point?
Quote:Trump is neck deep in this shit. I know he thinks he is invincible, but how in the fuck did he think that campaigning on "I will release all the Epstein files" was a good idea?
And there is still much more files that have yet to be released. I doubt they have or will release the most damaging files.
Quote:Yeah, that's been my fear about all this. Lot's of plausible hearsay and smoke, no solid/definitive evidence that would hold up in court (not that Trump himself would ever go to prison either way).
I've long had the impression that law enforcement just never bothered to follow up on any leads implicating people aside from Maxwell and Epstein himself. With the type of clientele involved (Presidents, billionaires, foreign heads of state and royalty), I imagine any investigations were under heavy pressure not to dig too deeply and keep the focus narrow.
Quote:Totally agree. It's obvious that there's decades of smoke here and you'd have to be crazy to not believe Trump was complicit. I'm just not sure there's enough for legal consequences.
Quote:That limo story is completely believable. I only watch this asshole through a screen and even I want to slap him for the shit he spews. The rest of it sounds plausible too. They must've had to silence some people of keep a lid on such a vile operation.
And that's the saddest part of it. Any logical person could see Trump doing all of the things he has been accused of. It was all there out in the open in his behavior, his actions and the company he kept. And the republicans still prop him up as a leader, as a king almost thanks to the supreme court. There is no shame or decency or guilt. Just an unchecked lust for power and burning hatred for the other.
Quote:And this now makes multiple women who have mysteriously committed suicide after speaking against Trump/Epstein.
Quote:Wait - has the letter to Nassar from Epstein been posted in here yet???? Fucking sickening and is a smoking gun
Quote:I really feels like when it comes down to it, this is occam's razor. These people are really this stupid. When you surround yourself by nothing but yes men, this is what you get.
BWoog wrote:Someone online brought up a great point. The Epstein postcard implicating Trump slipped through because you can't "Ctrl F Trump" to strike his name from it so they didn't catch it. Quote:Ultimately there will be two big stories out of this. 1) Trump, a sitting president being a Pedo. 2) The cover up allowing this to happen and the failure to bring people to justice
I think the latter will end up being the bigger story and it's going to rock people to the core. Not just the extent of all thisbut the sheer volume of people involved in it. Everything will be complicit in some way but ultimately the institutions that are meant to protect people failed. It's obvious spy agencies have dirt on Trump but nobody did anything and he is in the White House. It's obvious politicians of all ilk know but did nothing. It's obvious head of agencies, governing bodies and public services knew but did nothing. It's obvious media and news organisations knew but did nothing. ( Of course there are people who did try - but I'm talking as a whole here).
I may have my history book head on but when Trump falls because of this - and he will - it'll be a defining moment of the 21st Century.
Quote:I read 80% of the new documents released, including the ones that include victim testimony and tips.
I am disgusted and appaled. I couldn't continue reading by the end because I got the entire picture of what the fuck these pedophilic monsters did to young girls, some as young as 4 YEARS OLD! 4 YEARS OLD, MAN! FUCK. SOME COERCED BY THEIR FAMILY! THEN SOLD FOR YEARS TO VARIOUS NATIONS AND ITS BILLIONAIRES.
FUCK. I AM SO DISGUSTED. FOUR YEAR OLDS! THEY'RE BABIES! I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER, AND MY GOD THIS NEW REVELATION PISSED ME OFF.
I can somewhat imagine what it took to not make these tips public sooner, because it really did a number on these girls, and some of them sound incoherent and stressed while they wrote their testimonies. A lot of them didn't even know who were abusing them and blocked the memories of being assaulted at FOUR YEAR OLD until they saw Epstein in the news. A lot of tips in the documents came around 2020, so it can be dismissed by the cons as "political agenda" and "fake news", but it lines up with the death of the bastard, and people being more brave to come forward.
Make no mistake... Ghislaine Maxwell scouted these girls, she picked up vulnerable immigrants, she took them to Epstein under the guise of work, drugged them, and then abuse and beat them and threatened them with death (with some actually murdered, and in one case with Trump being the witness to the murder), and forced them to become Epstein's "girlfriends". Maxwell needs to rot in prison.
Everything testimonial I read broke my heart that some of them went to the authorities as early as 2000, but nothing was done.
Just... vile. Disgusting. Rot in hell Epstein, and I pray that the others join you real soon.
Quote:This is going to be seen as nothing more than a conspiracy theory and media will just move on just like in 2016
Quote:Every accusation really is a fucking admission. This is about to get far, far darker than we as a society are ready for. And, worst of all, everything in these files is going to be talked about so much that the horror will be drained from it for a lot of people. For them, it will just be a scandal to revel in.
Quote:These type of people when defeated just shut up at some point when they got nothing supporting them, like a rapist in office. Every Trump voter simply aspires to get away with crimes in the same way and want to live that life, especially hating a group of people and not getting shouted at and they are fine with everything not happening to them directly.
Quote:That Epstein letter from prison hits hard.
It dismisses the conspiracy theory that he didn't kill himself and calls Trump a pedophile.
Quote:This will never affect their votes, this doesn't change peoples minds. But 3 years from now when the election happens (I'm less concerned again due to their level of incompetence and the lack of support) we can never not look at them again the same way. The quiet part is out loud, we as a people simply will never be able to put the toothpaste back in the tube
Quote:Important to keep track of such individuals, but maybe they'll be smart and run for office by openly proclaiming that the victims of rape should get beheaded but honestly Trump voters got so little else going on in life that i expect them to do worse.
Quote:But if it's a fake, why does the DoJ have it?
riotous wrote:None of this really proves it's fake, although it very likely could be.
If it is Trump admin knows it and will release the results of handwriting analysis or other proof later as a gotcha. Quote:Yeah, that's a good question. Why would a fake letter be part of "the Epstein files"? Then again, why would a real letter that was written after he was imprisoned and sent to somebody else? I kind of feel like neither scenario makes complete sense.
Quote:There's a lot of good reasons to believe the letter is not the right one. But then if DoJ was trying to cover anything up, why would they release this? How would there be a postmark at all? Where would DoJ have gotten it?
Quote:Yeah, either way, this is opening up more questions than answers, and DoJ needs to be brought forward to answer a LOT of questions.
riotous wrote:- Someone in NY creates a fake letter, puts the return address down poorly but it does end up back at Epstein jail
- This is noticed and handed to the feds as they are involved in his death investigation
- FBI proves it's fake
- Trump included this in the leak to get people to
report on it
- Soon they'll release the proof it's fake (handwriting analysis for instance) as a big gotcha to dems/the media
My guess riotous wrote:To me it's obvious they've been releasing exactly what they want when they want, which is why they led with Clinton/Gates/anyone but Trump stuff. It wouldn't be shocking to me if they purposefully release misleading information about Trump only to prove it fake later as a ploy to further control the narrative. Anything more substantial that mentions Trump released later can then be easily dismissed by his base as being like the letter. Quote:I know Maxwell is in prison but good grief what were the authorities doing for decades with this stuff. Epstien got lucky once to get a sweet heart deal and eventually put in prison, I don't know how that would have played long term, I don't even remember what they got him for the second time.
Quote:They didn't release any proof, though, they just released a statement that much of it is false.
I mean, if that actually fixes anything or changes minds about it why not just do that from the beginning?
riotous wrote:Quote:You're giving them way too much credit.
I don't personally think so; this isn't some "4d chess" move to me. They clearly are doing a controlled leak of information, I don't think anyone would disagree with that. I'm not saying they are doing some perfect job at this as I don't think it's that difficult to come up with a "let something fake be prominent in one of the releases so we can show the proof later" takes some wizard of propaganda to come up with. riotous wrote:It could be done as a gotcha to the media or the left to release the proof later. They would do that as a way of making people weary of believing information in the release in general. I'm really just suggesting a possibility as people were asking "why?", obviously I don't know for sure they are doing this. riotous wrote:They've had these files for many months knowing they may be forced to release them. They've been working on controlling this information for as long almost certainly.
The next dump will be full of stuff about Trump most likely, conveniently released after they let this "fake news" run amok for half a day only to scold people to remind them there's fake stuff in there. Quote:I'll point out, too, that DoJ claim there were 200 employees working on digging out these files. I think it's fairly likely that there are some of those folks that are on both sides of this. I hate to think there's any politicization involved here with the rank and file who'd rather just do their jobs without interference, but it seems like the haphazard nature of everything is more because you have some people who want everything out there and others who want to pick and choose to protect the powerful.
BWoog wrote:"Don't trust the Department of Justice!" -Signed the Department of Justice Quote:So now the DOJ is claiming it's fake based on those few points that other people have pointed out (that still don't actually confirm it's fake).
So did the FBI actually conduct an investigation into the letter or not? You can't just say it seems fake so that confirms it's fake. This administration is beyond embarrassing and incompetent.
Quote:So you mean to tell me that the admin has been reviewing and redacting the files since the beginning of the year, and they're only just now seemingly realizing that this letter exists, but also only coming up with a defense for it more than 16 hours after releasing it?
Quote:I'm not saying it's a real letter written by Epstein, because that does feel awfully convenient and has a lot of wiggle room in regards to reality. Like, if this was in a script, we'd discuss a more elegant way of hitting the same plot point.
What I am saying this DOJ is packed with the same super-geniuses who "redacted" a publicly available photo of Clinton, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and their kids as some attempt at a Clinton/MJ gotcha.
As a people, from Trump himself to the poorest MAGA voter, they historically project their crimes on others. "Clinton was there!" not "This letter Trump is a pedo, so we'll release it and get headlines then reveal we fooled them!" The conservative mind does not allow itself to be part of the narrative in that manner. Maybe this is when they finally turn that corner? But I don't believe it.
My money is on the note being a fake, written years ago by some nutcase who sent it believing it would lead to Trump's immediate downfall. It's included here as part of the utterly unorganized pile of stuff they've got because, years ago, it was added to "the files" and was forgotten. The handwriting analysis is either, A) hidden away because--and I would be stunned--it says this is real, so the DOJ has hidden it, or, B) that analysis is stuck in some other tranche, and we'll see it later. And, if it isn't, it will be FOIA'd at some later date anyway.
Quote:I'll only believe the letter is fake if they run an independent DNA test and fingerprint the whole thing and prove who actually wrote it. Until then, 100% real.
Quote:It was reported two years ago Epstein sent a letter to Nassar. So as a matter of fact, Epstein did write something for Nassar. Now if it's not this letter circulated, how did this one get in the DOJs net? And if this is a fake, where is the original?
Quote:I'm gonna go with the letter being real.
