I'm not making excuses for Chevy Chase, but he is just one of many comedians and comedy writers who grew up in a physically and emotionally abusive household. I don't know to what extent he ever dealt with it through counseling or psychotherapy, but he's been in rehab previously for painkiller addictions and most recently in 2016 for alcoholism. I do question if he has a psychiatric disorder(s) which may explain his behavior and outbursts (and one that could have been passed down from his abusive mother).

I think when you go from someone that dealt with this kind of abusive background, and then get to being famous, you start becoming a control freak, a jerk, you spread the abuse because it's the only thing you know.

Inspired by [USER=52262]Huskman[/USER]'s thread about Non-FF7 Final Fantasy characters in a new Super Smash Bros game, I've decided to make my own thread on something I've wanted to see for a very long while in a new Super Smash Bros game and have discussed several times on era before, [COLOR=rgb(255, 0, 0)]new human Pokémon characters in Super Smash Bros[/COLOR].

I've said this many times but I personally feel that while the Pokémon themselves are clearly the stars of the franchise, the human characters are also an important aspect of the franchise (from Professor Oak, the many Rivals, the villain teams, the many iconic characters) that deserves to be acknowledged and an important part of what makes the series special.

While we have Red and Leaf represented as part of the Pokémon Trainer, I feel several other Human Pokemon characters are deserving of a spot in the classic Nintendo fighting game series; especially those who play different to titular Pokemon Trainer.

As such:[COLOR=rgb(255, 0, 0)] If Super Smash Bros introduced another HUMAN Playable Pokémon character into the game, who would you want (and how would they play)?[/COLOR]

A couple of ideas I've had in the past:

Giovanni feels like he's one of the few major Nintendo villains missing from Super Smash Bros and I few he could work really well in a Smash game. Unlike Pokémon Trainer, you actually play and move Giovanni across the stage, BUT he isn't the one to attack you, making him a summoner character. His normal moves are done either by his Persian or Rocket Grunts (same with his shield) and his specials he summons his other Pokemon like Nidoking to use Poison Jab (to poison opponents), Dugtrio for a slow but powerful area of affect attack Earthquake etc.

He even doesn't jump by himself, instead he is pushed up by Rocket Grunts, including the very idea that if he's pushed or jumps of the stage, he'll be saved by several grunts pushing him up back onto the stage, falling to their "deaths" instead.

Unlike the above, Misty doesn't move and instead poses in her signature game positions. You instead control simultaneously her Staryu and Starmie, somewhat similarly to Ice Climbers but here both are as important as the other and instead focus on Keep Away and speed style gameplay along with trapping the opponent, with the two able to get on both sides of an opponent and using duel attacks like Swift, Ice Beam, Psychic etc.
