Overall I have some more fun answers now. My dream job as a kid: themepark owner. I went from webdesign to entrepeneur. Ideas, teams a real rollercoaster. 
With this one it's all lining up and very easy so far. All she has to do is confirm the date and time and we're on.

- Take my new car to spend Christmas eve at the gym
- Average 1 date every 2 or 3 weeks with clear improvement and no lack of interest on Bumble
- Grab the number of the hottest girl at a IRL event and take her on a date

A year later

Overall though I need a big win. Could be anything a hot date, a big deal, a fast car. Whatever, a big WIN is needed.

All the 2025 goals were achieved.

For 2026 the starting point is even better than last year and the challenges not nearly as big.

That's why it works. Secret agent was my previous answer but while that is exciting it also gets into violence and womanizing quick. She literally typed out wondering what career path I took instead of designing rollercoasters. She also used a lot of rollercoaster emojis so she has created a bias "oh this guy is fun" loop. And truth be told, the first game I bought for myself as a kid was Theme Park for PC, I played a fuck ton of Rollercoaster Tycoon and often built Theme Parks with LEGO but she can imagine all that on her own.
 
Anyway she is excited about a beachwalk and warming up at the beachclub after on sunday so it's a date after Christmas.

We had a good time but the ADHD dog took up a lot attention and energy.

She called it quits when she got home. Overall I didn't think the distance/dog was worth it and there was little chemistry. We're both fine with this outcome was the vibe I got when she took off anyway. We could've ended it sooner even. She walked the dog or rather the dog walked her, I walked in my new shoes. I felt less for this one than I felt for 40f even who was at a maybe.

Meanwhile back to Nato girl and 10 pending likes/matches I got this weekend that are more on the casual side tommorow. That'll be the focus for the cold winter.

The dog was 5, the split 4 years ago. The poor girl doesn't realize why she is single, no man wants his peace to be disturbed by that crazy ass dog. That's why I assume she asked if I was fine with dogs. Most guys say "yeah sure" because we all think it's a dog, it sits, shits, barks and runs after a ball. We pet her dog, she trusts us, it feels like her fairy tale, dog makes it easy. The more polite ones probably say: "Sorry I'm not a dog person" or she sees them freak out when they attempt to interact with it.

Tough call. Gym discipline or date with NATO girl.

I suggested tuesday but she has other plans so wanted to meet tommorow. However I can only meet after the gym. She thought 10PM would be too late or it would be a very short date.

I've eaten protiens like mad during Christmas to become Super Saiyan before the end of the year so I'm not dropping gym night.
In fact it'll be 2 gym nights in a row and my trainer made plans to break some barriers. 

I've suggested thursday or friday for the date instead.



Still lessons learned, my gut feeling was NATO girl would've been a more fun date than crazy dog girl but it would be more convenient for dog girl to do a sunday beach date than a weekday date considering the drive. Gave the wrong one the first slot. I should prioritize those at a closer distance or perhaps stacked them I could've dated both today. 

Still the theory is that this'll make her more interested. We'll see if that rings true or if she moves on. If she's fine with thursday or friday the first date of 2026 is already locked in.

Well I've made the decision our CEO refused to make. He discussed it with the CTO last week when I was I off for Christmas. The good news, we're both getting 25% of the company and the owner will keep 30% until he retires and then sell it us. But yet again the wishy washy at some point you two will take over. But that won't work. We need a clear plan for succession. 

As usual I have to make the right call. The CTO should take my role as COO and be the successor. My role is better as CSO or CCO chief strategic or commercial officer. They're probably shocked that I'm giving up this fight before it starts but in essence I'm buying my freedom. In 10 years I will sit on the beach and earn 20%. Meanwhile he can take up complaints about invoicing, interview new interns and plan HR meetings but he loves doing that. He's traditional and punctional, has a kid on the way and wants stability, owning the company and responsibility for the employees fits. Dutch companies are worth jack shit anyway, until you can sell it and even then the value is mostly based on the number of employees and assets.  

NATO girl is fine for thursday I just need to find a place that's open on january 1st.
