Don't take this as ban litigation but i find it incredibly disappointing moderation decided my calling out of americans is trolling when my maternal home country's existence is literally threatened and we have people on here more or less arguing thinly veiled in favor of illegal attacks on sovereign nations and the death of civilians while throwing their hands up and saying there is nothing they can do about it.



I'll take the two weeks since it's good my mental health not having to read more justifications but since this probably won't be the last time i hope moderation will take into account that some of us are really frightened by what is happening.

I got the same warning for literally saying Machado and the opposition party lack the popular support to rule Venezuela, something Trump himself confirmed within an hour of posting it is officially the US stance. I know it's risky complaining about this, but I'm genuinely disgusted the way this page functions to silence left wing messaging on US imperialism. The same thing happened with Bolivia before this.



This page has always had weird and inconsistent policies on moderation related to politics but it has gotten out of hand defending the American narratives around their excuses for imperialism. The people in that thread know nothing about the situation on the ground in Venezuela other than what American media feeds them and get mad when that is challenged by someone knowledgeable on the topic.



At this stage it almost leads to the question: if all of this is called trolling, what does trolling even mean? I really want to see what their working definition for this word is because as discussed in this thread, it seems to just be a catch-all for things the moderator personally disagrees with and nothing more.

This forum likes to present itself as a place for oppressed groups to be welcome but never forget this is an America first forum actually. Don't complain about Americans not doing enough, they don't like it.

Could be wrong, but my guess is that it's not the posts simply saying that Americans aren't doing enough that are the problem.





Its the ones lobbing direct insults at members, comparing us to Nazis, saying we are complicit to war crimes, etc etc that are going to be the ones that are the problem. Its just nonsensical hostility and adds nothing to the discussion.

This post got moderated with no direct insults to members. You could take issue with the 'on here' part but even with it there was no direct insults nor was anything specifically directed at specific members.
