For reference I worked pretty much full time middle class/lower middle class jobs from age 18 to 50 when I had heart surgery. I get $1788.00 USD a month now from disability. 

I think the social security website even has a little calculator so you can figure out how much disability you would make. I think it was pretty close to what I got. Dr Poop ain't getting shit if that's his work history.

It's a great life here in the US. I followed the American dream and educated myself for 15 years worked for fortune 50 companies and worked under two Noble laureates during my doctorate and I can't find a job and I'm too sick to get one anyway and these student loan administrators are hounding me

It's the fact that he thinks getting the education is the end of the process. It's the fucking beginning. The education facilitates the job, but that's where the hard work starts and we know he's not willing to do that. He should just be given the plum job where he does no work but reaps all the rewards.

Think Wuchang, First Descendant, Star Blade etc. It feels like western gaming went through this in the oughts with titles like Fear Factor, Tomb Raider, X-Blades as some examples. Is it a cultural phase or is it the entrenched Asian male patriarchy that makes it more than a phase? I know the "why" of the body type and look is because of East Asian beauty ideals but

Millions of people have bought these games meaning they're clearly serving a market. But what RE wants is to simply make that market disappear. It has to be the evil asian patriarchy, once we defeated those guys finally no more boobies in videogames. The thing is, I don't even want every game to be Stellar Blade, but we have reached this absurd point where the simple existence of cleavage is problematic and once you notice it it becomes hard to unsee. Like how everyone in the Spider-Man games is dressed as if they're all conservative Catholics. A character wearing a dress at all is already daring. Fortunately seeing the success of something like Dispatch or Lara Croft returning to her old look it feels like we can maybe come back to a sensible middle ground

I have a feeling this guy/girl doesn't know much about Japan or China, because "waifu" is an English term. If you walked up to some Japanese nerd and asked him about his "waifu" he'd probably think you're making fun of his accent while asking if he's married. I guess that's the sort of cultural insight you can expect from the site though.

I'm always in search of games that have a high school setting because my school experience was hell awful and I want to relive it in a good way. To experience what it could have been. And there are almost no games that satisfy this fantasy for me other than Persona.

I don't understand this concept of "reliving" (or redoing) an experience. 

Like even if you somehow managed to convince a school that you, as an adult man, should get to have a second, better, high school experience, and they let you do it, it's going to be something else entirely. The kids today aren't the same as the kids from your time, they have different beliefs and values and attitudes. You are no longer a hormone addled team, you are a fully formed adult, and your "peers" won't see you as such - you're not a fellow teen, just some weird old guy. If they don't think you're a creep they'll just assume you are somehow retarded. 

Same as all the 40 year old trans ladies who refer to themselves as "girls".

Then get to know your neighbors so we can continue to fight this as efficiently as possible. We have strength in numbers. To see what’s happening in Minneapolis you can find videos in the minnesota or Minneapolis subs- It needs to be viral all over the news. This is what they are doing to our communities, it’s actually a war zone here- prepare yourselves because this is what will happen in everyone’s lives if we let fascism take over America. Please spread the word. They are busting down peoples doors, they are showing up at schools, they are taking children, they are orphaning children.

Once you start organizing with your community I promise it feels better than the helpless depression that doing nothing will bring. We have momentum, we have strength in numbers, we legally have rights to resist. Resist with love, document ICE, and stay safe. We can do it ❤️

There are lots of online classes and protocols to learn which is all very helpful and necessary. If you haven’t started preparing yet this is my plea to you that it’s time to fight back.
