What's funny to me is that they made that unappealing non-binary character and literally no one cared after release

In fact I think I've seen more chuds make fun of the character than anyone liking them. Why bother catering to that crowd?
I think there actually is a world where non-binary woke ass characters could potentially do numbers.

Imagine a Griffith (from Berserk) ripoff, basically exactly as is, but with a "non binary" label slapped on and some kind of bullshit clunky overwatch gun. People would love that!

But when they DO make these enby/wokecore characters, they're often doing whatever the hell is going on with Venture here: neutral colors, sort of...anti-attractive (like, not unattractive, just no hook at all to find attactive about them).

It's actually really interesting when you think about it: androgyny is not even remotely new, but the modern conception of it s closer to a gray featureless cube than anything akin to a possibly interesting blending of identifiable aspects.

Not just musicians but this would be a hilarious thing to make a website for. Maybe like actual or close to sex criminals. Just a giant list of two columns, Left and Right. lol

I'll start:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lavrentiy_Beria wrote:His bodyguards reported that their duties included handing each victim a flower bouquet as she left the house. Accepting it implied that the sex had been consensual; refusal would mean arrest. Sarkisov reported that after one woman rejected Beria's advances and ran out of his office, Sarkisov mistakenly handed her the flowers anyway. The enraged Beria declared, "Now, it is not a bouquet, it is a wreath! May it rot on your grave!" The NKVD arrested the woman the next day.[97]
...
Stalin and other high-ranking officials came to distrust Beria.[102] In one instance, when Stalin learned that his teenage daughter, Svetlana, was alone with Beria at his house, he telephoned her and told her to leave immediately. When Beria complimented Alexander Poskrebyshev's daughter on her beauty, Poskrebyshev quickly pulled her aside and instructed her, "Don't ever accept a lift from Beria".[103] After taking an interest in Kliment Voroshilov's daughter-in-law during a party at their summer dacha, Beria shadowed their car closely all the way back to the Kremlin, terrifying his wife.[102]
...
Evidence suggests that Beria also murdered some of the women. In 1993, construction workers installing streetlights unearthed human remains near Beria's former Moscow villa (now the Tunisian embassy), which included skulls, pelvises and leg bones.[105] More were found at the site in 1998, when the skeletal remains of five young women were discovered during work carried out on the water pipes in the villa's garden.[106] In 2011, building workers digging a ditch in Moscow city centre unearthed a common grave near the same residence containing a pile of human bones, including two children's skulls covered with lime or chlorine. The lack of articles of clothing and the condition of the remains indicate that these bodies were buried naked.[citation needed]

According to Martin Sixsmith, in a BBC documentary, "Beria spent his nights having teenagers abducted from the streets and brought here for him to rape. Those who resisted were strangled and buried in his wife's rose garden".[107] Vladimir Zharov, head of the Department of Forensic Medicine at Moscow State University and then the head of the criminal forensics bureau, said a torture chamber existed in the basement of Beria's villa and that there was probably an underground passage to burial sites.[105]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_H._Hammond wrote:Hammond's Secret and Sacred diaries[12] (not published until 1988) described, without embarrassment, his sexual abuse[1][13] over two years of four teenage nieces, daughters of his sister-in-law Ann Fitzsimmons and her husband Wade Hampton II.[1][14] He blamed his behavior on what he described as the seductiveness of the "extremely affectionate" young women.[1] The scandal "derailed his political career" for a decade to come after Wade Hampton III publicly accused him in 1843 when Hammond was governor.[15] He was "ostracized by polite society" for some time, but in the late 1850s, he was nonetheless elected by the state legislature as a U.S. senator.[16]

Hammond's damage to the girls was far-reaching, destroying their social prospects. Considered to have tarnished social reputations as a result of his behavior, none of the four ever married.[1]

Hammond was known to have repeatedly raped two enslaved women, one of whom may have been his daughter. He raped the first enslaved woman, Sally Johnson, when she was 18 years old.[1] Such behavior was rampant among white men of power at the time; their mixed-race children were born into slavery and remained there unless the fathers took action to free them.[16] Later, Hammond raped Sally Johnson's daughter, Louisa, who was a year-old baby when he bought her mother. The first rape occurred when Louisa was 12; she also bore several of his children.
Then users could vote at the bottom of the list to determine forever by proven science if Left or Right is worse.

Those present at the ranch during his visit, according to Horner, were the ranch’s manager and his wife, Epstein, a chef, Epstein’s secretary and four women who were introduced to Horner as college students.

Horner pitched his Dinochicken project to Epstein, but Epstein declined making any donations, according to Horner’s statement.

“There was nothing weird, inappropriate, or out of the ordinary,” Horner wrote.
Totally clears the paleontologist, thank you.

Spoiler:  (click to show)
The remainder of the information kind of ruins the joke:
Quote:Horner, a former Montana State University regents professor, curator at the Museum of the Rockies and consultant on the “Jurassic Park” film franchise, insisted in a lengthy statement posted to social media that he was not aware of the extent of Epstein’s child sex trafficking network when he visited the multi-millionaire financier’s New Mexico property in 2012.

However, Horner did write that he was aware Epstein served a sentence for soliciting prostitution when he courted Epstein for funding of his “DinoChicken” project.

“I want to make it perfectly clear that I knew nothing more than that,” Horner wrote. “No amount of money in the world would have lured me to meet with a known sexual predator. I understand now that there was much more to his conviction, but that many of his other charges had been sealed. Regardless, my decision to pursue him as a donor, was extremely poor judgement.”
DinoCon rather deliberately, in my opinion, implies in their statement that it was after Epstein's second conviction.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Horner_(paleontologist) wrote:In Las Vegas on January 15, 2012, 65-year-old Horner married Vanessa Weaver, a 19-year-old Montana State University undergraduate paleontology student and volunteer in his lab. I actually only JUST looked at the damn overwatch character, and the new face is certainly less "ozempic'd" than the old one.

And neither one "challenges" "beauty standards" of any kind.

I did, however, uncover a new question: Has anyone genetically verified the racial identity of the voice actress? I suspect there may be some genocidal problemations with her casting.

It's a funny post because the capitalist West is the nicest system to criminals that's ever existed. Like I mentioned the other day regarding violence, the US is harsher than the EU certainly but it's nothing like non-Western countries. They don't have a large incarcerated population not because they go easier on criminals or support them with a bigger social safety net, but because they're harsher and crueler with the harsh cruelty definitely being the point. Not to mention the executions. Tons of US states, and until Trump came back the feds, won't execute anyone. I personally support that and I'm open to considering it potentially harsher than the death penalty in certain ways, but that will mean a larger prison population than if you just executed criminals. They think countries like China or even our friends to the South don't, that they just give people welfare and let them go on their way. Even though these states don't even have extensive welfare systems for the non-criminals.

There's also the question of if we're accurately counting the "prison population" in a country like China or North Korea or past states like the Soviet Union. I'd count the entire population. In a real police state you don't have to be in prison to be an inmate, that's kind of the whole point.

He's condemning the system of capitalism and liberalism like they always do, but would they point to how most "socialist" Global South states treat the accused/convicted or would he point to the rabidly capitalist Scandinavian countries if asked how they should be? Which countries are closer to "abolishing" not just crime but poverty? Even if we pick "good" Global South states they all will have more crime and more poverty than the US. That he'd fall back onto saying how this proves it's capitalism just demonstrates how it's an unfalsifiable argument with ad hoc arguments to defend the hypothesis not look at any actual evidence.

And it's worth noting that under every socialist state in history crime has never been an indictment of the system, it's been treason. You're literally an enemy of the state and treated as such. And the Western fellow travelers agree with this, condemning those so accused and punished, not championing them like they do a common petty criminal in the West.
