I hope every trans person gets the love, support, and compassion they need and have supported a number of trans people in hard times myself. I don't need anyone to tell me how cruel the world can be, particularly for trans youth, and I don't know why you'd think I'd come out of this advocating for anything other than what I've spent years advocating for.

My line of sympathy runs short when someone goes and indiscriminately murders children in a school though. Children who are also likely to have been going through things, to have felt lonely, to have had their own anxieties and pains.
