See, this is the problem I keep trying to point out to you. You read what we say and then read your own beliefs into it purely to take issue with what we say. You think that mocking outright stupidity and hysteria is somehow celebrating whatever's happening be it this or AI or whatever dumbass shit they're upset about over there. You and Blueball are peas of a pod, claiming that we take and champion the opposite position of Era no matter what. And the evidence for that is that we mock Era's position. You think it's binary and zero-sum, that there's only two choices, Era's outrage or "the other side."

And yes, they are wrong to worry. Their concerns are absurd. Bring up Colbert and Bari Weiss again and it won't change anything because that's not evidence of their absurd concerns. You wouldn't accept any alternative theories I posit like that late night shows are increasingly worthless or that it's not a bad idea to try and bail out a failing enterprise in a swamped market by having it chase a different audience rather than the same shrinking one as all its competitors. You'll instantly take this as me saying what they're doing is good even though all I said is the concept is sound, nothing about the execution let alone the specific choices. And that's the problem, like Era you're constantly primed to go straight to 11 and take issue with whatever anyone says no matter what you have to read into it in order to justify your outrage rather than only considering what they actually said and little more.

And even if what you say about Colbert or Weiss or Ellison making nice with the lunatic who has to approve his business deal is all totally true, none of that leads to any conclusion about FASCISM, NAZI PROGRAMMING and END OF DEMOCRACY because that's fucking stupid horseshit that reasonable people won't even entertain so everyone's lucky that I'm highly unreasonable.
