It seems you literally cannot help yourself from putting words in others mouths so you can attack them for it even in response to being criticized for doing this.

And yes, that remains an absurd thing to believe but you're going to believe it even when facts are presented which challenge the belief you always wanted to believe. You're not interested in finding out why your worries are wrong versus wanting to attack others for dismissing the concerns. I get that people have strong feelings about Melissa Barrera being pro-Palestinian and her firing by Spyglass/Paramount — that's a separate debate people are obviously passionate about. But that still shouldn't bleed into how Scream 7 is reviewed as a film.

Whether someone agrees or disagrees with her views has nothing to do with pacing, storytelling, performances, or how effective the movie is as a horror sequel. Reviews are supposed to evaluate the work on screen, not function as a political scorecard. Once critics start rewarding or punishing movies based on real-world politics instead of filmmaking, it stops being criticism and just becomes ideology dressed up as analysis.

Also, posting only the negative Rotten Tomatoes reviews while ignoring the positive ones isn't really proving anything — it just creates a skewed picture. If we're going to talk about reception, we should look at the full range of responses, not just the ones that support a narrative.

If someone thinks the movie is weak, that's totally valid — make the argument on cinematic grounds. But celebrating low scores because of an actor's politics feels less like film discussion and more like culture-war cheering, and that's not great for honest criticism.
