The moral of these stories, especially with the Saudis, is that there is no infinite money glitch. Never has and never will, at least not in our current economic system. You can spend money you don't have and money that isn't yours, what you can't spend is money that doesn't exist - it still has to be made somehow, somewhere.

On the subject of China we're seeing similar shifts in film and animation too. In general China's entertainment industries have hit a renaissance and in their cultural pride Chinese audiences are turning entirely inwards - no need to settle for translated Western works when you have your own homemade media that the West loves too. That money is more or less gone for the foreseeable future, and we're seeing a lot of industries quake having been able to boost off Chinese money for the last few decades.

Money has no intrinsic value, it exists purely to facilitate transactions by serving as a stand-in for the actual value. An infinite money glitch would in fact render it useless as money. Happy to help.

They seem to understand the world through video games where money does in fact have intrinsic value and only the player actually uses it. In the real world, that's just narcissism.
