The crying... it has to stop. It can't help you. This woman has gone out of her way to show you that she doesn't love you in a way that is borderline cruel. So why do you still love her? The woman you married is gone. She doesn't exist except as a memory in your mind. She doesn't seem to have any issues moving on from you. Maybe sadness is the wrong emotion here? Anger is a very useful emotion. You must control it, but it will ease you out of the emotional pain if you can get yourself to the point of mentally saying "FTB". At the very least, give her the illusion that you're doing just fine and take care of shit. Get the divorce finalized (immediately), sell the house, start working out, stop talking to your wife in any way other than as a business partner.

My cousin did basically the same thing to her husband and completely destroyed the relationship with the lying. I still feel really bad for her husband but in the end he got majority custody of the kids. Her excuse was that she got married too young and realized she needed to experience love with other men. She felt that she missed out on life and wanted to experience more things like her friends have been doing. We also found out she was cheating a lot near the end which pushed her over the edge on wanting to get out. Ultimately she's a free spirited person and felt that she had to bottle it up during the entire marriage. Both are happy now. She moved on and got married to some rich tech bro traveling the world to all the places her husband couldn't afford to take her. He's now a lawyer and kicking ass as a public defender. Couples therapy worked for them in the sense that it got her to pull the trigger on divorce. Hang in there OP. It'll get better

Was an up and down day in game for me. Was the first time I truly three man full stacked for the majority of matches. Time just melts playing this in a really dangerous way. When I said playing this game is akin to drug use I was being serious. The euphoria and crash outs both can just be so intense and visceral feeling.

Have already hit this game hard as fuck in the last week, but the last day of playing this was probably the most serious, dedicated video game playing I've done in probably the better part of two decades.

No joke, the last game to probably time warp me this hard and get me to just melt hour after hour was probably Bungie's Halo 3 in 2007. This game has that level of soul sucking capability for me. Not even my peak OG Destiny days hit this level of crack-like craveability.

Let's just put it in a different kind of manner: I know a game is very dangerously incredible when I forgo eating while in the midst of playing. For me to skip food, shit has got to be spectacular. And well, it is.

It's just incredible to me, as someone who adores Reach a lot more than most Bungie/Halo fans tend to do, that in the last two years Sony has published the most incredible spiritual successors to Halo: Reach ever in this and Concord. This game really is delivering on aspects of Reach that Concord didn't really do; namely the much more bleak, oppressive, and hard sci-fi aesthetics + the more tactical and grounded Reach gameplay. This game is very much like a 2.0 on the whole "players with trigger discipline + consistent aim + best positioning are consistently rewarded, while it's a more planted, physical, and lethal game overall" that Reach's general combat design embodied, and I think it's a huge reason I am adoring this game so much.

This game is truly like Halo: Reach 2.0 to me.

If Concord was Reach + Halo CE + Shadowrun 360 + Twisted Metal + Overwatch + Rocket League, Marathon is more like Reach + ODST + Destiny + Escape from Tarkov + Enter the Gungeon to me. If only I could have both, but at least I've got this now and I'm going to enjoy if for as long as I'm able.

This is purely anecdotal, but I work near Bellevue close to the Bungie headquarters, and the overall mood of my clientele has gone from a sort of giddy excitement to dour and depressed. I don't know what percentage of Bungie employees visit my particular Costco but I would assume its at least 30-40% or more. Things are bad.

I can only blame him for being a -poster on Twitter from looking at his feed. Probably because journalists then repost his shit as "news" and call him a "prominent developer" and so on.

Era didn't even read the story let alone click through (doops couldn't post the tweets lmao) to see him making clear he didn't create the character or even get "his" design in the game, they'd never get to the replies where he names the actual designer. In that other reply I shared he also makes clear he didn't work for the company. So he certainly wasn't hiding anything or trying to steal any credit. It just undermines the sole narrative the Era thread is based on.

There wasn't enough time to do any of that when they needed to praise him for being brave and stunning, attack chuds, speak about their skin-color sins (skins?), bitch about GAAS, etc.
