By the way, the funniest part about British sitcoms is that it'll be one of the funniest shows you ever seen and it's still talked about 20 years later and then you look up the episode list and it's like two seasons (sorry, series) with 5 episodes each and a Christmas special that was made 10 years ago.

It’s obvious Echoes sees a new TV show then spergs out and makes a bunch of retarded threads. The last one was Scooby Doo. Now it’s Red Dwarf. It’ll probably be Black Adder or Mr.Bean next. Is funny because some of the worst posters at ERA are anti-Mario Film but Nintendies are one of the most resilient and pedantic fandoms on their own.

Anyway, I watched/read some interviews about the Mario Galaxy movie and Miyamoto-san was the most important audience member.
He had to agree on everything and considers the characters of Mario, Zelda, Peach etc. to be actors that he represents.
He "casts" them in projects that he thinks are the best fit for the character be it theme park rides of movies. One franchise can appear in a project but guest roles are also possible, hence Star Fox shows up in the Super Mario Galaxy movie and Donkey Kong was part of the previous Mario movie. It's also why Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Bananza is not the same Donkey Kong as Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong Country. It's just the same actor Donkey Kong playing a different role in a different setting. He hopes that fans enjoy seeing different Nintendo characters from different universes meet in different games and settings even if it is just a cameo appearance.
The movie is titled Super Mario Galaxy but has nothing to do with the game Mario Galaxy story wise. Instead Mario Galaxy refers to the Galaxy of the Mario franchise. Rather than just focusing the movie on 1 game it includes elements of various Mario titles. After the first movie everyone expected Nintendo to move onto Mario World but for Miyamoto this wasn't obvious as the Super Mario Movie exists in its own universe along with Super Mario Galaxy.
The Pikmin are in the movie because Miyamoto is currently on a mission to put Pikmin in everything.
They've now shown up in the new expansion for Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the Super Mario Galaxy movie but also the Nintendo Stores and Nintendo Museum. Miyamoto hopes that players enjoy seeing and finding the Pikmin in all the various Nintendo projects in the future as he plans many more appearances for the Pikmin. If it was up to him Pikmin would be included in every Nintendo product perhaps even post launch as a surprise for players when they replay an old game although he realizes that it may be costly for the company to do so as they have to think about how the players would discover, find and even interact with the Pikmin. The Super Mario Wonder DLC offered such an opportunity so he took it. He hopes seeing Pikmin everywhere will bring joy to players worldwide.
