Making her eyes smaller and her lips wider still makes a big difference. Her eyes are still quite big, mind you - but the babyface vibe is gone.

The Overwatch team in particular has been extremely receptive to fan feedback for the better part of like 2 years now. The game under Aaron Keller is night and day with how it used to be when it comes to communication.

That's a significant improvement all around, much better then the original design.

Definitely a big improvement, but it does feels like they fixed half of it but left the other half untouched. You've lost the doe eyes and baby fat, but kept the little button nose and smiling, puckered lips. The mouth could be read as just a different mood versus previous art, but the nose does feel like they're still clinging to at least one aspect of their default female face. She's older and more confident now, but is still affecting a very friendly presentation without any harshness to her.

Ah, but ya can't please everyone. This schizo neckbeard demands more than just half-measures! Now age her up 20 years and juice her on steroids.

This game is partially banned on Era.

As a trans person, this is making a mountain out of a molehill. Yes, the twitter replies were pretty bad, but the guy was fired anyway. It's silly to act like an entire company full of artists are awful because they had a bad social media manager once. As for the "transphobia" in the game, Chromanticore is meant to be disturbing and fetishized. It's a cyberpunk game, and all of the in game advertisements are awful like that. It's a satire of how low corporations will stoop in the far future. The voice restrictions are a pretty obvious case of "it's much simpler to program it that way" and not much more.

Besides, the game has open gay and transgender representation with it's characters and writing, and it's treated as a completely ordinary part of life in Night City. Characters aren't player sexual. Gay men are gay, and lesbians are lesbian. V, no matter what choices the player makes, is canonically bisexual.

Cyberpunk is one of the most openly LGBT AAA games right now, and while some shitheads (including their ex social media manager) enjoy that for fetishized reasons, it's seems unreasonable to get all purity police over the game.

I know it's just a videogame character and not a real person, and Blizzard was sort of forced to respond thanks to the backlash... but the entire thing where Blizzard feels the need to like, justify its changes and provide before-after pics also kinda feels gross? Like it's still kind of objectifying of a woman and subjecting her to micro-analysis of her appearance in a way that has some extremely uncomfortable parallels IRL. I feel like they would never do this kind of dog and pony show over some random guy character.

Those resin statues/figures tend to be unlicensed (especially the lewd ones). That site also mostly deals with unlicensed ones and their descriptions point out when they're official. I doubt Capcom had anything to do with it.

There used to (and probably still is) figures with removable clothes called cast offs but the clothes were often a weird quality to make that possible, but yeah the companies could make more money by selling two separate figures to collectors which I would assume is what they're aiming for. Figures, scale even used to come with swappable parts too and the body could be one in this case if we were looking say 10 years ago or so.

A reminder that Cyberpunk was not going to be quarantined and wasn't ultimately done so due to the game itself. Community who didn't want it to happen messed it up for themselves in that whole debacle.

WW stuff probably would have just been quarantined and not banned virtually outright too if people didn't go out of their way to antagonize/troll those who took issue with the property.

Pretty blatant revisionist history going on. 

TransEra--led by Kyuuji who new game plus'd Cyberpunk--spent weeks on a campaign to get the game banned. The person who was assigned to make the OT of the game, Black Chamber, was railroaded as some secret MAGA double agent who infiltrated ResetERA to spread transphobia via Cyberpunk. Their "proof" being a joke Black Chamber made about Trump after digging through his social media accounts. TransEra purposely misconstrued that joke as him praising Trump. That was the excuse used to get Black Chamber banned and the game quarantined.

The "community" just wanted to talk about Cyberpunk and ignored TranEra's constant attempts at thread derails, which just further enraged them.
