Great fight by Itauma once again. Took him a while this time. 5th round ko.
Still going to bed early thanks to some early knockouts. 11:40 pm here.
Baseball is finally back, I wish BisMarckie was around so I could thank him for Lou Bob Jr
Here's the highlights of the night.
This is the one against the weight bully.
Here's Itauma's.
Worth the 20 bucks I paid.

These prelims for the Fury fight are great.
They flew in some Argentinian midget to get put down in the first round. I wish the midget made it at least 1 round. Wanted to see a booster seat come out in the corner.
I imagine the rest of the night'll be like this. Tyson Fury always brings that gypsy clownshow energy.
Well, it was a clownshow but not an entertaining one. Undercard was better than the main.

Makhmudov's strategy of walking forward bent over at the waist with a high guard wasn't working out so good.
Madrid and Barcelona going out of the Champions League has made my week.
Fucking cheating scum. Worst fans in the world too.
Let's go Atletico!!!

That, kids, is why we tuck our shirts in.
Undercard for Usyk vs Verhoeven just started.
First fight has been boring so far. Setting is great. Pyramids in the background.
Lapin vs Tani
Guy that was flown in to lose dismantled the opponent from the opening bell. Great stuff.

Usyk vs Verhoeven has been worth every penny so far.

Atletico Madrid. The only Spanish team worth shit decided to go full retard against Barcelona after some typical disrespectful transfer bullshit involving Julian Alvarez
Quote:No, Atlético de Madrid would never do something like that. However, over the past few months we have been subjected to a relentless smear campaign against one of our players. Calculated leaks, fake news, constant disrespect, the culé version of the propaganda machine inventing little stories, phone calls before head-to-head clashes… But of course, it would never occur to us either to have the vice president of the referees on the payroll or to rely on political favors to register players. RESPECT and VALUES.
Yeah, that's pretty much my life at the moment.
At least we have favourable timezones with the World Cup in the Americas. European World Cups are hard on the sleep schedule.

A Scotland game at 2am local time is going to be carnage lol
Not to mention their first WC game in 28 years. At least their game against Brazil is at a sane time.

Anyway, put your predictions out there bitches:
Quote:World Cup winner:
Big name shock early exit:
Golden boot:
Going balls deep (small name shock late exit):
World Cup winner: The Netherlands
Big name shock early exit: Brazil
Golden boot: Harry Kane
Going balls deep: Japan
World Cup winner: France
Big name shock early exit: I don’t think any of the big teams will fail to escape the groups, but I can see Brazil and Germany underperforming
Golden boot: Harry Kane
Going balls deep: USA and Mexico both ride home field advantage to the quarters
I think rd32 or even rd16 exits qualifies as shock early exit for some of those teams, depending on who puts them out.

I was trying to work out permutations for the knockouts but there are so many possibilities with eight (there are only 12 groups!) third-place teams going through that it’s impossible.
But that’s why I don’t think any big teams fail to advance. Even if Germany underperform, they’d have to be apocalyptically bad to not go through in a group with Curacao.

Curacao, the Dutch second third team?

But you're right, it's almost impossible to be eliminated. I think I heard you could go through with 3 points and a -2 goal difference.

Casemiro and Pacqueta aren't good enough to be playing in this world cup.

Don't know why FIFA insists on playing these tournaments in third world countries full of criminals...
I can definitely see Brazil suffering a collapse against strong opposition

Eat shit you Turkish half breeds
World Cup winner: France
Big name shock early exit: England
Golden boot: Donald Trump
Going balls deep (small name shock late exit): Japan
From what I've seen the Dutch team has an easy group so the guys will not take the matches seriously.
Japan scores 1 - 0 locks the field. The Dutch team changes their play style for the next matches players get confused and they’re out.
