My current theory is Malds moved in under the belief he would be the exclusive kept woman of his polycule bro (offline monogamy/online polygamy) so he could've just played videogames, wear pretty dresses, jerk it and be financially supported for the rest of his life. Now that another polycule bro has hit the love shack, trouble is slowly brewing.
- not enough money to go around if the new roommate also wants to be a kept woman that eats for four people
- relationship drama as Malds realizes he may not be cut out for the polycule life, no more undivided attention means more imsorryimsorryimsorry posting
- Malds' might've completely burned bridges with his parents as soon as he moved back out which means he has nowhere to go if the polycule thing doesn't work out

This is a lolcow soap opera in the making.

"things haven't worked out as well as I was hoping" OF COURSE NOT

these people are masters at constructing elaborate fantasies in their heads

is it an autism thing? believing so hard in your expectations that you convince yourself it'll be exactly as you pictured it and nothing could possibly go wrong?

like, not even really related to this at all but another lolcow, there's chibi, who is this guy

longstanding embarrassment online

his dream was to become a teacher in japan and he finally followed his dreams and moved out there

and surprise surprise, they don't like socially inept weeb weirdos over there either, and he's been struggling

he doesn't know enough japanese and he hated the conditions he was working under, his hosts, a few months back was only getting 3 hours a week of work, and they were threatening to revoke his visa

what is it with these people moving far away just expecting everything to be great?

You know something amazing is about to happen when these socially crippled weebs manage to actually make it to their Mecca of Glorious Nippon

Nah, even if it's naive, it should be encouraged.
It's actually a refreshing change from the usual woe is me/I'm disabled and can't get out/send me money.

I don't know this guy, but it's ballsy to move to Japan and will be a good learning experience.
Same thing for Melds. Even if the polycule implodes, at least she got out of her parents' basement (for a few months).

Malds moved back around January right? A 3-4 month run is better than I thought it would go, curious what the next steps are… Steve lives in Canada with their own “problematic” parents, Fatatha lives in… Florida in a shoebox of an apartment… haven’t seen them post about the third in awhile… Malds might just have to return home the prodigal son.
