How would they "hear all the discussion about the CCU" if they don't click the thread and read it? ???

Yes, Marathon is just like GTAV.  Spin

You see, Sony is forward thinking and looking at the LONG GAME, they don't kill live service games after 2 weeks.

I can't do it. I won't do it!…

GTA V made its budget back up front...

edit: Destiny 2 presumably did for that matter, and this is part of why they split from Activision who didn't even allow World of Warcraft to have truly wildly varied revenue years.

May I remember wrong, but DmC didn’t flop? It didn’t set the world on fire but sold well enough that Capcom re released as a  “Special Edition” and a lot of DMCV Nero characterization takes cues from Donte.

I love how they always cope with "the world wasn't ready for Concord/Marathon/etc." and yet can never articulate what the games do that's so different from anything else out there. Other than fight creeping fascism of course.

Between it being Bungie, Sony, GaaS, art theft (which was settled and the artist is credited in the game), and there being female characters, people from all corners were already against this game before it even released. So even the smallest things the games did wrong had the weight of all that baggage as well.

Is the same logic that ERA used to not vote for Kamala.

They know a game’s concurrent playerbase is gonna be what it is no matter whether there’s a CCU thread or not, right? Making the threads go away just because you can’t handle the latest Soyny slop flopping doesn’t make the problem go away.

No, it's different from them. She didn't refuse to pick, she just didn't like Biden/Harris for good reasons and decided to hope Trump had matured and would have better people managing him this time. This is the entire reason Trump won again, people who voted against him in 2020 and gave him a second chance because they didn't like the other option when they got it.

The stupidity is trying to blame her for "buying propaganda" as if this is why she rejected Harris and not that Harris said Biden made no mistakes. They think Nancy owed it to the Democrats and should suck it up and vote for them. It's one thing if Nancy said something like "Trump is a fascist going to kill everyone but Biden sucked so I gave him another chance" but that's not what she said, she clearly didn't like her options and decided to hope Trump might be better the second time than continue with what she didn't like. Her entire explanation is her trying to spin one of two bad options into maybe being better, this cut against Harris because she was the incumbent and more recent information to evaluate. The excuses wouldn't have played if Trump was still in office, and that's why it didn't work in 2020. She would have had to use this same reasoning to justify voting for Harris against what Harris herself promised.

This is actually the common voter and their common decision making process. Era doesn't like it because they actually want voters to be people who buy propaganda like themselves.

edit: And amusingly it's likely Nancy did have a role in creating Trump 1 as it's likely she used the same reasoning to pick him over the "known" Hillary.

The game was never going to be successful because it is a AAA premium extraction shooter and the reboot of a single player 90’s Doom Clone exclusive for apple computers.

The people that would care for this game would wanted it to be single player or free to play. But it doesn’t sound like they didn’t try.

My favorite thing about ZeoVGM is he'll still go to war over the 2016 Ghostbusters Reboot at the drop of a hat.

GTA5, famous for its slow start out of the gates selling only 29 million copies in the first month.

The CCU arguments are the symptom, the virus is retards unable to just ignore things they don't like.
