I have this feeling this’ll be the last GPU I’ll buy. My previous one lasted 10+ years and the industry was pretty healthy in that time. Now both the hardware market and games industry seem messy.
Can’t imagine a game coming along to make me reconsider. Any faith in Elder Scrolls 6 is dead.

PlayStation 5 will be around until 2030.
Switch 2 is all you need.
Now that I’m spending time with the Ayn Odin Portal 2, objectivismily it is running emulators better than the Steam Deck and I don’t know why. 3DS especially is much better. The shader stutter is minimal and it can run games at 4x resolution. Battery life seems better too.
Wish 1tb micro sds didn’t cost 3x as much as they used to. Having to be selective is troublesome. Had to delete Red Ninja to make space for Opoona.
At the end of Saros. I think Returnal was probably my favourite game since bloodborne. Anyway, something here is missing overall. I think it's the metroid weirdness. Day 1 for Harry Krueger's next game.
It’s amazing how games still don’t let you know when the last save and checkpoint was. Some games throw up “last saved 5 minutes ago” or something like that. Playing this James Bond game and reach a cutscene and see the save swirl in the corner. Okay. Quit out. Return and it’s a point 25 minutes earlier, repeating un-skippable walk-and-talk sequences and cutscenes.
Im playing mina the hollower and bond at the same time. I hate furries but like mina, I hate bond but like this game. The duality of man.
Looking into playing Hitman 2 and 3. Bought Hitman 2 many years ago. There is no Hitman 3. Steam shows Hitman 3 Access Pass Hitman 2 Expansion. It reads as if it lets you play Hitman 2 in the Hitman 3 launcher. There is no Hitman 3. There is a lot of Hitman 3 DLC. There's Hitman 3 Deluxe Pack. Is that Hitman 3? No. That's DLC. It says I own something called Hitman World of Assassination. Look online. It's Hitman 1+2+3 in one launcher. But I never bought Hitman 3. I own Hitman 3. Hitman 3 doesn't exist anymore. Why are they selling DLC to play Hitman 2 in Hitman 3. It's currently on sale with mostly negative reviews. Reviews say it is two DLC maps for Hitman 2 in World of Assassination. What the fuck is going on.

Hitman 3 was an Epic Games Store exclusive, but if you had previous games it unlocked the content from those games in it. But since like 99% of people probably had those on Steam they obviously couldn't do this. So they eventually did some rebranding and contractual avoidance with "World of Assassination" and gave it supercheap to previous owners. Then they tried to clean up the whole thing by just dumping the previous games. The 2 DLC is because they didn't want to give that away right away like they did with the Hitman 1 content.
In theory, World of Assassination was supposed to be like this permanent Hitman live service thing that would keep seeing new content and they would no longer have to do Hitman releases but I imagine this won't be a thing in the future.
You basically just have to launch World of Assassination to figure out what the fuck you actually own. The DLC tab on Steam is not necessarily any help because you can't see what the keys even mean.
