Zelda OOT remake art style is strange. It’s a really small game. Nostalgia has you remembering Hyrule as this huge place. But like Hyrule Castle Town is a short street. Hyrule Field is a small empty zone. Kakariko Village is five houses and a windmill.

That’s what was interesting about the Link’s Awakening remake. They had this toy figure style to mask that it’s a small game for the game boy. 

Anyway, if you want to feel old as shit: Ocarina of Time 64 to Ocarina of Time 3DS was about the same gap as Ocarina of Time 3DS to Ocarina of Time Switch 2.

I agree with you that, on paper, those two things don't seem equally damaging when compared, this is related to me personally because in the year of 2026, while society and the world are breaking down at a rapid pace, I am finding it increasingly frustrating following "no politics on main, I'm only here to provide fun" types of Youtubers.

I'm not naive, I'm very aware that he can't singlehandedly change society with his actions but he absolutely could use his influence to fight against a lot of the horrors going on. I've never heard him commenting on Ludovic Mbock getting arrested by ICE in Baltimore for example (unless I've missed it), which is beyond tone-deaf from someone who lives and breathes FGC.

I mentioned Ronaldo in Fatal Fury because after Maximilian became aware of the SA crimes commited he made it clear of how very personally affected he felt after learning about that, which is proof that he cares about the victim and might have some lived experiences regarding that. Denying SNK's sponsorship money shows he can be an ally and a force for good.

Which brings me back to the Stellar Blade thing. It was such easy, low hanging fruit to simply continue not playing that game, which keeps being used by chuds all over as the mightiest weapon against "wokes" to demonstrate what a perfect woman should look and act like. Him not playing that boring ass game felt to me like a tiny gesture of standing up against the toxic incels out there, which given the size of his audience felt pretty unusual.

As for the AI cope... besides the obvious middle finger to artists and devs everywhere, shit is extra disappointing coming from a guy who might be one of the biggest Final Fantasy VII fans ever. I mean, c'mon man:  
All he needs to do is look at the Midgar wallpaper on his monitor, this is not hard to understand.

I don't mean this to be a takedown of Maximilian, I'm sure he is a good person who's single purpose in life is to just "provide entertainment"... but in 2026, someone with such a big audience (while living in the USA), claiming to not know enough about politics and choosing to not take a stand... that in itself is a statement. Can't say I entirely disagree. It's all PR babble nothing that they showed will move the needle significantly nor will a 25 year anniversary Xbox Series X model.
Xbox will continue to sink or maybe keep the small market they have left but Swich 2 and PS5 will stay ahead and Switch 2 makes Series S entirely obsolete.

Like Dunkey said in his last video, Microsoft lost to Concord era PlayStation. And why 25 years, Xbox won't last 25 days. 

There won't be anything significant on Project Helix that won't be on PS5 or Switch 2. This'll be like the Xbox One X a short adrenaline rush that runs out of gas soon enough. Another HALO, Fable, Gears of War won't save it. They can't rewind the clock 25 years, there isn't nostalgia for Xbox like there is for Nintendo.
