Don't know where else to ask or discuss this on ERA and I don't feel comfortable making a thread about this. Do you think it's possible for the de-sexualization of women's breasts in our culture? For them to be treated the same way as men's breasts without men being weird and gross about breasts? I've been thinking about this the past few days after I saw a discussion about how YGO cards are edited and censored for localizations which includes making some cards less sexualized.

Now I'm pro some of the edits because some of the cards are blatantly objectifying, but their are some edits I don't like, aka ones that involve decreasing breast sizes (also removing stuff like Pentagrams or changing the God Osiris name to "Slifer" but that's another story) like we're not talking about comically massive ones that defying realism or the laws of physics, some of them are the size I wish I had to be honest (like Dark/Black Magician Girl). I admit I'm not the biggest fan of that (especially if that's the only edit done to the art) because it feels like blaming women bodies (and yes I realize it's drawing likely drawn by a man I get that).

I realize this might be silly, but sometimes I do wish women breasts weren't so sexualized in fiction and real life or treated like something to hide, to feel shame for having. It feels frustrating as a trans woman to want women's breasts but hate the idea that women should feel shamed for having them or that having large breasts means your less automatically less appropriate or deserving of men to be weird and gross around you.

Sorry, I feel like I'm not making much sense.
