Nope and if you're mostly playing JRPG's and single player games like Resident Evil and Indiana Jones it's basically a portable PlayStation 5 at this point.
But even games like Street Fighter 6 are identical to the other consoles.

DLSS just murders the Series S in image quality. I think this thing is just Nvidias revenge for not getting the Xbox/PlayStation contracts.

There hasn't been an equivalent device on the market as far as I can remember. The Steamdeck while capable has a lot of ifs and buts when running more demanding titles.

Now people say that PlayStation 5 Pro is much better but why are we even comparing these devices. You couldn't play PS4 games on a Nintendo 3DS.  lol

I looked into Pragmata switch 2 and it doesn't run as well as xsx or ps5. Sure. That seems to be only benefit. They run the same games but better but at the end of the day I wouldn't begrudge someone for sticking with Nintendo.

I bought a PS5 and honestly don't think I've missed anything by owning. I already have a Series X. I'm selling it (the ps5) for a Switch 2. Now that Nintendo was humbled and realized people weren't going to buy their games for $80-90 the games are reasonably priced now which is perfect for me to swoop in.

If you like Japanese games like I do, Switch 2 is the obvious winner. Sony has turned off its Japanese fanbase and developers by not emphasizing its Japanese roots.

Here's a Pragmata Switch 2 review.

What's even more alarming is how Nintendo was right and were correct to not chase graphics first in the Wii era. Now Xbox and Sony are closing studio after studio and Nintendo has arguably won the console war.

XSX and PS5 seem worth it only for an fps boost and graphic boost and GTAVI. If GTAVI is coming to Switch 2 day one? Sheeeiiit.

It would be nice if it was like PS5 Pro levels tbh I know I know

I feel like some of the ports, like adventures of elliot or pragmata for example, should be 4k good on switch 2 ideally but they look substantially worse and thats a trade off you take for getting the portable version on a game by game basis.

Will be interesting to see how good this PS portable is if it comes, it will have the entire library and it all kind of rides on how much better it plays them than the switch does.

There was a Capcom store in Osaka with kiosks of Pragmata running on PS5 and Switch 2. Tried both back to back. It felt minimally compromised with frame rate and resolution. Mostly, it was the same.

A lot of the Switch 1 ports were lowest settings, 50% resolution, and struggling to hit 30fps with stutters. Like watching a camrip of a movie when it’s already out in UHD.

Thanks for the data. Honestly I can live with that.
