How else do you expect anything to get better unless companies are AFRAID of fucking over their consumers? No company will ever act altruistically out of the good of their own corporate heart. The only recourse we have is to make it difficult and painful for them to screw us.

I do think if you want to send a message, it starts right now, today. By the time the PS6 comes out or they stop producing discs, no message is going to matter.

That means stop sharing or discussing marketing materials, stop buying games, stop paying for your PS+, etc. Yes, this means games that are still being printed on discs, yes, this means games you really want to play.

Sounds like a quick and easy way to get a bunch of devs fired, which, as we know, is the worst possible thing a video game developer can do. 

But I'm sure if the video game business suddenly and catastrophically retracted, freelance video game journalists would be unaffected.
