What the fuck sending a kid out to take a penalty? Scoring a pen in training is not the same thing as doing it at the end of a game.
Ultimately, pretty proud of the performance of the team throughout the tournament. We looked professional and competent except for the first half against the US when Poppa got the team selection all wrong. Probably didn't choose the right team to start this game either, but shit happens.
What we've got is the makings of a decent team who can have a good crack at the Asian Cup in January in Saudi Arabia and will come on in leaps and bounds for the next world cup.
Would have liked to go through today, but overall I'm satisfied.
