I think the funnier contradiction about their political weltanschauung is the incredible inherent cognitive dissonance. They spend all their time distilling towards an unknown hardline position held only by an elite cadre of thinkers who mostly refuse to participate in politics at almost any level except talking about it as a replacement personality trait while casting out anyone who even thinks about compromising with others or not showing enough deference to be considered an ally, yet at the same exact time they believe there are countless teeming masses out there just waiting for someone to articulate this and the supermajority of the (or any) population that agrees without compromise will suddenly sweep them into lasting power with popular supremacy forever.
