I don't, for one second, believe that Peter Drury or Martin Tyler have any idea who some two-bit American country and western singer is by sight or have any interested in whether Shakira is playing a concert at Yankee stadium.

They are actually quite a bit more annoying than the "hydration" breaks by now.

They have a VIP list that says who’s in those boxes at a given game, and the director/producer in their earpiece can also tell them when the live feed is about to cut to a certain person in the crowd.
