It seems like the left is just completely disjointed, disillusioned and unmotivated.

I know why that is, I got congratulated by a girl tonight because I'm in AI but still concerned about ethics.

Between Trump and AI there is nothing much they can do. They spend decades to take over the institutions and education only to find them being obsolete. They pushed the ideals of feminism only to end up with corporate jobs to create shareholder value. 

They disarmed and deindustrialized Europe only to end up with an agressive Russian state and record US energy imports.

If they hadn't railroaded classic neocons like Mitt Romney and neolibs like Hillary Clinton and the local equivalents the political landscape would look entirely different

Just watched a piece about the current Dutch crack epidemic. I already noticed a lot of shit (literally) on the streets lately and was wondering about the cause. Sometimes the hobos just leave their pants near a wall that their ass exploded on. This one wall near my street was just entirely covered in explosive diarrhea.

The lady explained how it costs just 3 or 5 Euro a pop but the effect only lasts minutes and it's very addictive so the addicts are basically stuck in a loop chasing the same high over and over again.

The government is planning to hand out free crack as part of a harm reduction program. I see all these kids vaping so I think this shit will just backfire.

They're doing this approach because it worked for heroin back in the day.

Instead of 'war on drugs' they created healthcare programs, free test labs and distributed heroin provided by the government. That made it "uncool" and removed it from the counter culture thus fewer people started using it as an alternative for weed. 

These people forget though that in the 60's/70's it was a bunch of hippies and students and the dealers were guys in Volkswagen vans mostly looking to chill with their clients. Selling all the hippie shit from heroin and weed to shirts, lliquor, flower blankets, tent supplies, books and vinyls. People were high on love and anti-establishment. Drugs weren't the main business of the mocro maffia like it is today and smoking crack is way easier than shooting up on heroin. You also couldn't order your stuff over signal and whatsapp from a kebab/burger/pizza place.

The target group is also different. The group of crackheads that is growing the fastest is eastern European migrant workers. They smoke this shit because we all live in a society. That also makes the related crimes to fund their addictions more severe as they are mostly manual laborers who know how to wield a hammer.

We import muscle to do hard work, they lose their jobs, they can't return to their families in shame and become crackheads. Big strong guys who can store a tremendous dump in their bowels from the junk they eat, rip out cables to sell and break open doors to steal. Straight out of central casting. Let's give Igor some free crack and a therapist and see what happens.

They'd give fentanyl addicts lower level opioids under "Safe Supply", which the addicts would sell to dealers because they don't get as good of high as fentanyl, and the safe supply would then be sold to dumb teenagers and the like and get them on the addiction cycle.

As part of their reversal the government tried to ban drug use near parks and playgrounds. The courts quashed that by saying it violated the Charter of Rights and Freedoms (part of Canada's constitution) by infringing on the right to Life, Liberty, and the Security of the Person & Equality Rights.

A constitutional right to do drugs and leave needles on playgrounds. Total fucking clown show.

In Calgary the drug problem was severe. My bro used to live there near a drop-in center. They put it in the most wealthy areas where they had the most shit to steal.
The local super markets had armed guards to keep the zombies out so it was best to order groceries instead. You couldn't really go out on foot after 9PM as there would be zombies wandering around the high rise appartment buildings. Only Uber pick-ups were doable.
