I try to use it and other gender neutral terms. Personally, I'm genderqueer and I'd be fine with basically any pronoun other than they for myself. I don't know why but I find it very distressing for myself.

A bit hard for me, I have a borderline personality disorder. What that means is even if the smallest thing wouldn't annoy you, it is multiplied a 1000% for me. It's that bad that news like this makes me feel very down on my mood. I only care for COD, but what if Microsoft keep buying studios and publishers that I enjoy? I can't and won't play on Xbox. I have tried it with 360 and series x and I hate everything about it. I hate the controller and I hate the UI. My condition is like living in hell 18 hours a day and every day. Video games are my escape, and it feels like Microsoft are trying to take that away.

I don't even really get the first post. In this very case, the straight white guy wouldn't have been able to own a gun if that was the law. On top of that, RE is so disillusioned with the justice system I'm sure they believe any black or brown person with a gun gets thrown into prison, so what's the difference.

A ton of gun deaths are also through suicide, so it would actually make sense to ban people with mental health problems from owning one.
Real question is how effective a ban like that would be anyway though if they can just a have a friend buy a gun for them

You may have noticed this, sorry if I misgender you by saying "they" all the time.

I know conservatives complain a lot about having to use singular "they" along with he/she to address non-binary people (like me), and I've even heard progressives complain about having to keep straight new pronounces in their head.

But to me? It just makes everything easier to internally (as in, inside my mind) and therefore sometimes accidentally externally just call everybody a "they". The language part of my brain has thought: "You're a they, she's a they, he's a they, they're a they, we are they, they do everything!" and I just kinda always instinctively (and not intentionally or out of micro-aggression) sometimes blurt out or use they to refer to....well anybody. It's just easier for my anxious, overloaded mind sometimes to not think about genderizing my language at all (especially since i'm bilingual since being a kid, in Spanish/English, where Spanish has genderized language) and just assign everybody a "they" and be done with it lol.

I know I know, this is a half-joking thread, sorry no intent to offend people who insist on their pronouns (I personally go by either he or they preferably)--of course I'll respect and use your pronouns as best as I can remember.

I'm just saying that I notice I accidentally say they a lot, and if anybody minds that please correct me, but I've noticed it's become my default. People have even asked me "Oh does this person go by they now? Because I heard you use it" and I'm like "No, sorry, I'm honestly not thinking hard enough about my pronoun usage, I just instinctively say 'they' for everyone around me sometimes now...". if conservatives are so lazy to use pronounces that they want to just use he/she on what they perceive is a man/woman out of laziness/habit, it's ironic considering just using "they" for everybody is even easier to do lol.
