Writing this post, I genuinely tried to engage with the scenario June is posting here, and I think--like most things--it highlights the problem with trans politics.

If, for example, I was holocausted into genocide by the US government and they made me (a cis man) use a bathroom that didn't align with my gender identity (the women's room), my genuine feelings would be twofold: 1. I honestly don't give a shit personally, and 2. I feel bad for the women in there when I come strolling in, who would undoubtedly feel uncomfortable.

Basically, my only concern about it would be about how it affects others in the space. Which is a frame of mind that most of these Era trans posters don't seem to have access to.

I mean think about it, it simply doesn't exist and there are a lot of expensive underwear brands which everyone deserves to wear.
so my idea is simple. you no longer wearing a underwear? wash it. pack it and send it to the website and trade it for somebody elses underwear. this way you both can wear something new everytime you want.

Im joining my first larger polycule get together (7 people) here in a few hours, going to have a pool party, pizza and other activities. I love my group experiences, but usually get a little mentally fried with more than three people as an empath when sex is involved.

I look forward to the event, but I'm debating if I should take my Switch and some headphones if I need to recuperate a bit. Would it be less awkward if I announced what my overwhelm plan is upfront when I arrive?

I just keep picturing myself on the couch getting some Animal Crossing in and it feels bizarre

Hell yes. The sex party and orgies I've been to, plus the swingers yoga, all had cuddle rooms AND no-sex areas

I'm autistic and I think at every event I needed to be in the chill zone for a minute. It's a treat to take a breath and check in, especially when I'm having a good time, and essential when having a bad one

Seriously though, I'm the type of person to enjoy soaking up the energy more than actually getting physically involved so when my wife and I meet up with someone we give them a heads up I'll probably just chill while they're having sex. Wether I'm actively cucking or waiting on my turn or just not in the mood, I find being open in advance helps

Definitely get that. The casual homophobia, sexism, misogyny and blatant double standards towards series is really off-putting and there is just so much harassment. A lot of anime communities are hellbent on maintaining the illusion that anime fans are straight, cis and male and anyone who doesn't fit that is an anomaly, the same way some gamers can be. I avoid big anime communities and stick to friends + check seasonal lists myself and do my own research on what I want to watch.



I still come out of each anime season with a lot of great shows I enjoy, but then there's the experience I had this season clashing with the notion that Mushoku Tensei is a really good, sensible show and the best this season.



... Also, I also liked Witch from Mercury even if it falls apart at the end (IMO), but you have to deal with Mecha Fans™.
