The first real trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has dropped and in less than 2 hours it's already almost at 2M views.



I think it goes without saying easily the two biggest entertainment releases this year are going to be Doomsday and GTA 6. The hype levels are insane for both but what will be the most successful revenue Wise?

The only people with "insane" hype for Avengers are the nerds. They don't make it a $2 billion flick. They won't even make it a $1 billion flick. 

MCU is dead once this fails to make bank.

I don't like the user opinion about Obssesion (honestly I think he is not understanding the movie at all) but why an admin should talk like this and this just over a movie? If someone opinion annoy me I ignore them or just block them, don't tell them get fuck them.

Yeah but I like it when things get spicy and wild sometimes in the threads. It makes this place more fun to read. It always makes me smile to see somebody crash out and go to war in a thread. An admin or a mod is doing it too? Even better LOL [USER=1995]Nepenthe[/USER] always has a sword ready and the guy she was responding to didn't get banned or anything so hey. Tempers flared and crashing out happened. Nobody got banned. I call that a W. And check this out. The subject matter of the conversation doesn't matter. Neither does my being an admin. "It's just a movie!" Okay? I still want an honest conversation regardless. I have no patience for insincerity and unneccessary emotional irregularity of which JonJonRevolution displayed plenty of.



This board is of the median age that should have figured out how to handle disagreement over their media takes by now, and there is no reason why any of the benign refutations and disagreements they got not just from me but from other participants in the thread (again, one of which- Ghaleon, who's been a great contributor to the thread and forum as a whole- bowed out in response to him, mainly because he's smarter than me and saw what time it was) should've been met with: "you're trying to make me out to be a bad guy," "You're acting toxic," "this is insidious," "your framing of me is hideous," and on and on. In that way, you're correct. It is just a movie. So why in the world is a member allowed to act like disagreement with their takes is tantamount to character assassination and suck up all the energy in the room to play victim? And yet I'm the problem?



They wanted the spotlight on themselves as a victim of some mob, so I gave them the attention they wanted, which at least partly solved the problem because they at least didn't talk to me anymore (but unfortunately they tied up TheGummyBear's time after the fact.) If Mediking is correct and he's a conscious troll who just wanted to get a rise out of people and be an ass, then egg on my face. He gets to screenshot the thread and yuck it up wherever else he spends him time. Again, we're adults, and to me that's a dumbass way to spend whatever time you've got left on this earth, but I have no authority over how folks spend their free time.



Regardless, I'm not going to operate like sometimes, some adults don't need to be told to shut the fuck up. I apologize for nothing I said in that thread or in here.
