I think this fear of women who have prior experience is performance anxiety related. They don't want women with sexual experience because that's a woman who knows what good sex is, and they're afraid they'll be bad.

• Players with an Xbox One who want to play Series X|S exclusives
  
• Players with a big Xbox catalog and maybe even a Series X|S, but they're on vacation and want to play games on the go
  
• Players with a handheld like a Steam Deck or Xbox Ally, but they might want to play more intensive games which don't really run that well as a native download (I played a ton of ARC Raiders this way since I wasn't super happy with native performance)
  
• Players who want to play games without taking up 100GB+ of disk space
  

For us it's always an additional option, giving you more flexibility with your existing game library, not trying to replace the way people play today.

Now these options are available in test for people to try without a subscription, instead of needing a Game Pass subscription :-)

I'm usually making nonsense comments and just being a nuisance in general, but I've been thrust into an issue that I need advice on and there is no one I can talk to about it, other than maybe a therapist I don't have? I don't know, I'm a mess. I appreciate anyone who reads this or comments. Even if this thread goes unnoticed, maybe it will feel good to type out.

Background: I've been married for a few decades. There have been some major problems in the relationship throughout the years. Our marriage nearly dissolved about a decade ago, but the last few years have been mostly good. My partner is struggling right now with some trauma and their mental health and I'm trying to be as supportive as possible as they are finally trying to get help. I'm trying to not go into too much detail here, but hopefully that's enough.

We have children, but they are older - either out of school and on their own or nearly there. They have often said that my partner and I's marriage is one of the few examples they have of a good relationship, because we were able to keep the massive problems we've had away from them somehow. Most of their friends parents are divorced.

I started a new job earlier this year. A few weeks ago, I started talking to this coworker casually and it has quickly led to me having feelings for them. I have not had feelings for another person since I've been married. It's surreal to experience a feeling for the first time in 20+ years. I simply do not know how to navigate this.

The coworker is also married with children. I don't think they know that I have feelings, but I also know I am becoming less and less subtle about it and could very quickly become a problem. We have talked about deeply personal things and they have mentioned how happy they are that our lives intertwined in the way they have.

What the hell do I do? I know I should squash these feelings down into a hole and light them on fire... but HOW? I can't stop thinking about this person, and I get so excited to talk to them every day. Even if we were both single, every fiber in my being screams that it would be a mistake because we work together.

I feel so pathetic.

I genuinely can't believe Xbox employees are allowed to comment on this site in an official capacity to talk about the platform and the features Xbox is rolling out.

Not all Xbox employees are responsible, of course, and they shouldn't be banned from posting here in a personal capacity. However, allowing them to officially promote the company while it is facilitating genocide is, to me, disgusting.

I really appreciate that this forum has done more than most, but this feels like such an important line to draw. It's one thing for fans to promote Xbox (that's their choice) but it's another to have Xbox employees using this forum to promote the company's products and features.

Thank you all for the responses. I am so glad that I posted this. So much good advice and I really needed that sobering slap of reality. Big ups to those who spoke on reading about limerence. Even though I don't feel in love currently, I feel like my feelings were spiraling towards it rapidly, and a lot of my mental state lines up with the symptoms of limerence. It's an incredibly helpful thing to read about.

I also wanted to point out that I never intended to cheat, because rampant infidelity is what led to the near-dissolution of the marriage. I would never do that, and felt the need to point that out here. I have no idea where these feelings are coming from and it was driving me insane and want them to go away. Finding the source through counseling seems to be the next logical step.
