Any game that claims to be "built from the ground up" and then under-delivers on release wasn't worth saving. Even the small things like user-made liveries being reduced in fidelity in Performance Mode when the same thing doesn't happen in GT7 stick out.

And it's a damn shame that FM2023 came out as it did. I bought a Series X for this game with the promise that it had and the goodwill of FM games before.

Of course, when I bought the console back in 2023, I underestimated how complicit T10's ultimate owners were in helping the IOF raze Gaza to the ground.

This thesis falls apart when you consider that the Western country with the largest role in destabilizing the Middle East, the United States, sees dramatically fewer Islamist terrorist attacks than Western European countries and that a majority of the recent attacks were by homegrown terrorists who essentially grew up in Europe.

Part of the problem is that Western European countries did barely any vetting on the people they admitted, or had far too lax requirements to allow people to immigrate, while simultaneously allowing these groups to exist without assimilation, creating their own radicalized echo chambers.

I think Muslims broadly are tired of being othered and also tired of potentially being run down at public events by radicals, but the real problem here isn't discrimination as much as allowing these radical bubbles to form and doing nothing to prevent it or stop it.
