I feel like bigger "spoilers" for oot wouldn't even be the ending, but various content throughout the game that might be surprising or interesting to see for the first time if you didn't know about it?

a dungeon inside a big fish's belly, or fighting your own shadow on a mirror lake, or the creature down the well, or meeting biggoron

I mean none of it really matters or is all that interesting these days, but those are more interesting aspects of the game than the ending

I never really understood how Microsoft having the IDF as a client for their services, where the IDF pays Microsoft money for server space and tools, twisted in the minds of most era users to actually mean "Microsoft pays money to the IDF and offers their services for free using the money they get from their other ventures". Like they genuinely seem to believe buying Microsoft products is "funding" the services they provide to the IDF in a direct sense, like Microsoft needs to siphon money from game sales to Israel.

It's easily one of their funniest examples of how they just repeat things they've seen other people say without thinking about it at all. The executives and shareholders of Microsoft are all such rabid Zionists that when you buy Halo they immediately forward that to the IDF's Ko-Fi account.

The reality is far more mundane and would just active their sense of hopelessness at being able to do anything about it: Microsoft contracts cloud services to governments all around the world. Just think of all the cops that probably use something that has Azure lurking in its backbone somewhere.

They totally separate the Prime Series from Main one because is another dude the one involved in Prime.

Fire Emblem also comes close to this even if most games are in different continuities. (Keyword: most). OG FE fans crying about Awekening connections to the first games like anybody in the west give a shit about Marth before Smash Bros.

As far as the discussion itself goes.... spoilerphobia should never be given an inch imo. You are responsible for your own consumption of content. It is not anyone else's responsibility to tiptoe around your personal issues around content reveals in media. If you know you have an issue with them ("stuff in publicly released marketing material released solely for the purpose of getting people to talk about them is a spoiler!!!") then it's on you to avoid the internet until whatever it is you're getting hung up on can be enjoyed to whatever standards you want.
