The Zelda timeline is both really stupid and unique because it’s the same basic characters and conflicts reincarnated every couple centuries. I think Ganon is sometimes the same but he’s kidnapping a different Zelda and playing energy orb tennis with a different Link.

Concept for a future Zelda game or the movie*: Ganon isn't just a reincarnated evil, he's someone who has been condemned for some past hubris to endlessly lose to Link.

I think with a lot of Final Fantasy games at least around the time, haven't played a lot of the modern ones. But you think they are brilliant stories and deep when you are a teenager, but then you come back to them and really look at them, they are pretty basic and wafer thin if you really think about it.
