Sometimes we have a lot to say about a specific topic, and sometimes we just sit Rich Evans down in front of a camera without him having any idea what we're gong to talk about and then force him to not be creative at all. In this Black Void episode, Mike, Rich and Jay discuss how, in the wake of Backrooms' success, movie studios are already hard at work trying to scoop up as many popular spooky internet things that they can.

I enjoyed most of the Backrooms film but is a 7 of 10 for me because it feels like MCU with setting the lore within the director own YT series… and this is ironically is the big difference between the projects that RLM is mocking because the lack of lore and how fast studio executives are exploiting the memes, viral videos and creepy pastas. 

In that regard, I suppose that I should be thankful that Backrooms feels more from an “author”.
