Me and my wife are a lesbian couple who live in a new-ish home. Our sexuality is relevant because our neighbours are Muslim and have made it clear that they have some… hesitancy when it comes to us living together as two women.

Our neighbours house is two bedroom but has the main couple, their young child and the grandparents of that child all living in the one house and as such, they’re constantly stood outside and spilling out of the house which makes sense as it must be tight in there.

Since the grandparents came here to live, they’ve done loads of work on the garden and a part of this has been building a huge decking out into their back garden. The decking is about 4ft off the ground and so when they are stood on it they can see directly over and into our garden. The annoying thing is, at all hours of the day, there seems to be someone always stood on that decking.
They also, for some reason, keep placing their toddler on something so she can look over into our garden. It’s all a bit strange.

The bigger issue now is that my wife in particular has been feeling uncomfortable going outside and sitting in the garden because one of their friends in particular and the granddad just stand on the decking staring at her. When we look back at them (they are ALWAYS staring if we are outside) then they just continue staring - even if we smile at them or say hello, they just continue to stare.

Our fence is 6ft and we can’t make it higher as far as I’m aware without planning permission so I don’t know what our options are.

For further context, they’re on the right hand side of our garden and their house is in line with ours so it’s just that one fence side that’s an issue.

Not sure what to do. Confront? Get a landscaper? Plant something to block their view? I have no idea.

His belief seems to be that the sex hormones determine everything. Which, if true, would mean that men and women should develop entirely different hearts and lungs and kidneys and etc. Or maybe not even develop these at all versus something else. Every part of the body should be constructed solely based on the sex hormones, not just differences in the reproductive organs. Which seems even more like an argument that sex trumps gender. Because he can't look beyond his immediate desire that the relative levels of two hormones (out of many) decide everything and by changing this distribution you can literally alter sex entirely and so he has erased the sin (maleness) in his body for perfect ambiguity. (Which consists of looking like an elderly toddler.)

Which gets away from his desire to claim that nobody can tell, look at how many times in his gibberish he asserts that something you can look at determines your sex, at the same time he tries to conclude that this means that nobody can tell what sex is. Which itself raises a logical problem, if nobody can tell what determines sex then how can he determine what to change to become androgynous?

It's the central problem of the cult: it's all double talk trying to manipulate you into doing whatever the person wants at any time. And not submitting to their will is genocide.

The thing that I find most infuriating about it, is that transgender people are well aware that their 'biological sex at birth' doesn't line up with their gender. That's the part that makes us *transgender*. By definition.

Seeing places swap out 'trans man' for 'a biological woman at birth who identifies as a transgender man' when both essentially mean the same thing (though 'identifies as a transgender man' is at best clumsy and quite possibly factually wrong), one is *way more concise* and also manages not to misgender the hypothetical trans man... well it's transparent to me that the point of all this isn't science, or accuracy, it's trying to find a way to misgender us and get away with it.

I know what my biology was at birth. It was pretty much impossible to avoid being painfully aware of it.

But DNA isn't the code you are currently running, it's more like the prompt that was used to generate the code. It's like the architectural drawings of a house, or the blueprints of a machine. If you remodel that house, that doesn't change the original architectural drawings... but those drawings don't prevent modifying that house.

My genes were referenced by my body in the womb when it was originally growing. If you could rewrite the genes of an adult woman and give her the SRY gene... it wouldn't do anything to her. It wouldn't stop her ovaries working. It wouldn't make her start growing a beard. It wouldn't affect her bone density. It wouldn't do anything other than make her test positive for the SRY gene.

I've said this before but the 'biological sex' nonsense hurts me as a trans person *and* as someone with a science degree. Any scientist reading that nonsense should see that this definition hasn't come from science, and is inherently unscientific. I'm fairly confident that biologists were as absent in these hearings as trans people were.

The judges and their ilk claim it's a biological reality when in fact it's a single doctor's best guess given that they're only given two options in the first place. The line doesn't stop being arbitrary simple because the large majority fall clearly on one side or the other of it. That isn't biology. That isn't scientific fact. Science has made some attempts to explore trans identities to better understand them, because like all things science delves into, trans identities are an observed reality. Beyond that, intersex people are indisputably real, and while you can indeed write a binary definition of gender, it serves no useful function other than to push transphobia.

There's a lot of 'scientists' in this thread. I'm going to go with scientific consensus rather than discrediting findings because they don't agree with my predisposed notions, but then I studied science. Until the same evidence is found for this transracial concept, I'm not going to think of it as legitimate or established a concept. The study linked in this thread made for interesting reading.

Untreated MtFs and FtMs who have an early onset of their gender dysphoria and are sexually oriented to persons of their natal sex show a distinctive brain morphology, reflecting a brain phenotype. These phenotypes are different from those of heterosexual males or females; the differences affect the right hemisphere and cortical structures underlying body perception.

The point being, that the notion that being transgender isn't just someone wanting to wear a dress, is widely recognized in psychology, and has some evidentiary backing, that is lacking in the concept of being transracial. You can't point to a study like this to suggest they are equivalent, even if you take issue with the conclusions of that study. Even if you think neither are *established* the evidence for one far outweighs the evidence for the other.

In recent human memory, we have introduced species to new environments and witnessed speciation occurring. Speciation is real. Species are witnessed as changing over time also.
