Blades of Time for $26. Following the rule of thumb that prices start rising after 20 years when the kids who grew up with it become adults with disposable income and nostalgia. 1 user liked this post: Polident

Sonic was always shit and remains shit. Run really fast. Hit brick wall. Stop momentum. Throw controller.

Why do they release the exact device I'd want after I bought Ayn Odin Portal

And having the second screen add-on solves that and makes DS/3DS usable. Also, after trying out the free frontend (Cocoon, Daijisho, Retrohrai) I ended up paying for Emulation Station on android. Transferring all my Steam Deck information was seamless. No need to rescrape everything and it kept all my favorites and such. edit: In researching turnip drivers, I've come upon a video of a guy testing Xbox 360 emulation on the Ayn Thor... playing Infinite Undiscovery and Tenchu Z of all games. Pretty impressive.

Picked up a (used) Retroid Pocket 5 the other day after enjoying some ps2 emulation on my tablet with a controller. Only used it for an hour or two but this thing is cool as hell.

The only quirk with Android vs Windows/Linux emulation is how you can’t fast forward in Dolphin. GameCube had a lot of unskippable cutscenes.

Thinking about why I was interested in the steam cube, I’m remembering that I have my older Lenovo Legion laptop from 2019 sitting at home. Probably going to try turning it into a “console”. Only need to solve the heat and noise and I'm trivializing things by thinking I can bolt on a desktop heat sink and fan.

Quote:Here's the price breakdown for European markets: I bought the Series X for €449. The Series S could be found on sale for €229 easily You'd have to be mentally retarded to buy the Series S for 499.

I think they pretty obviously just want to stretch the supply out until they can release the next gen. No reason to keep manufacturing this shit when you're going to replace it and 90+% of everyone who will buy it already have.
I wonder if they can lease back their fab slots too.

Switch 2 $700 in 2027

I'm holding out for the cheaper version of switch 2 with no screen for portable play. I don't game unless I'm at home, portability is completely wasted on me, why am I stuck paying extra for it?
