Dead Dead Dead Dead

Quebec has deep water ports and can get that sweet middle eastern oil. It's more Ontario that'd be fucked. Then again, line 9 can be reversed.

But sure, Canada should have built its energy infrastructures taking into account the possibility that the US might elect a retard who would be willing to destroy a century of mutually-beneficial trade between countries with similar standards of living and labour laws. Canadian companies should have put their products on a ship for a 3-week voyage to Japan or Australia instead of on a truck or a train for a 400km trip to Michigan or Oregon. Lessons learned all around.

Anyway, retarded debate. No one's cutting off power or shutting down pipelines.

FACT CHECK:
Quote:Newsflash dumbasses. Canadians know a Trade War is going to hurt. We're not idiots, we're an educated country that isn't attacking education. We know we'll be disproportionately affected.

We just don't fucking care because we know that you will hurt too and we will absolutely drag you down with us.
Quote:Canada existed when there was no free trade.

If Trump wants to play this game then we can play.
Quote:Canada would rather like not having to get burned for the fucking US population to get a clue, when they had literally no control over who got voted in that country. The world already hated the US, and now you got the country that was most aligned with it hating it too, and its not going to change back with just the midterms.

In other words, leave us the fuck alone, we are tired of your shit US, we are not your savior here to "show you the way"
Quote:canada doesn't have to win shit. they just have to make things bad enough for the US that they will suffer like iran currently is making the US suffer.
Quote:i hope Canada has the means to devastate America back, as much as possible. America needs to feel the hurt.

Quote:I think at this point Canadians are resolved to setting the economy on fire to spite America back in the face of this treatment.
Quote:Yep. Bring it on.
Quote:
Quote:I know that he's an idiot, fascist, and rapist but what is his fucking deal with antagonizing Canada!?!
Same reason why he attacked Venezuela and Iran, oil.
Quote:Is there even anything Canada needs from the US that they can't get from another country? I mean sure logistics wise it might be easier to get things from the US but it doesn't seem worth the effort.
Quote:I think we should stop messing around and cut off power to the East Coast and stop shipping precious metals to the states and then lets see how long this trade war lasts

Also:
Quote:Just a complete fucking dipshit bully. It won't end the way your dumb lawsuits end for you, Donald.
So he'll win? Yikes.

You didn't answer the question. Have you seriously played competitive Pokemon against human players?

Regardless, why is it such a bother that you only have four move slots? Because it's a limitation? That's literally the point. It's a strategy game; there is a cost-benefit analysis towards everything you do when training an individual Pokemon or putting together a team to work together, and your moxie as a trainer is working with these limitations.

Five+ move slots would eliminate break points that the system is fundamentally built around, such as move coverage on certain Pokemon potentially making them nigh-unkillable, or facilitating and defensive/stall based strategies that grind the game to a halt more than just over reliance on text (which some people are also unaware is really great for gaining information on things like the turn order of Pokemon on the field; I don't know how you overhaul the UI and allow for this to be kept.) It's unnecessary beyond "I don't like it."

But the thing is, you don't have to play games you don't like.

I've been taking a couple hours a day to study, rather than just read, the historical materialism text. So far I'm getting a great deal out of it! Like Part 1, the annotations clearly explain what the original text says, and the illustrations are extra helpful for us visual learners. Thank you for all the work you put into translating and annotating the text!

One thing I will add (just an addition) - You can have a socialist society (i.e., actual socialism, but have not yet reached full communism) that is classless. Once there are no more capitalists, and only proletarians, you've effectively reached classless society because there is only one class.

Stalin era USSR (and for a while after that), for example, basically achieved this - or at least got so, so close it pretty much did.

Obligatory:

You see in that film, the quantity of Tom Hanks changed but the quality did not, creating a contradiction. Which expressed itself in his inability to continue operating within late stage capitalism at the toy company. The synthesis that resolves the contradiction is in his return to childhood to undergo proper materialist dialectic development much like how the proletariat needs to achieve revolutionary consciousness to advance to the next mode of production.

https://www.transvitae.com/what-rights-have-been-taken-from-transgender-people/

Quote:If you are a transgender person who has spent any amount of time online, or lately even offline, you have probably seen it. Maybe you have had it thrown at you in a heated discussion. Maybe it slipped into a comment thread you thought was safe. Maybe, like me, someone asked you directly to your face:

“What rights have you actually lost?”

For a long time, seeing that question used to make my stomach knot up. Not because I did not have an answer, but because I knew it was usually not asked in good faith. People often use it to trap us into sounding angry, defensive, or vague, all while pretending they are “just asking questions.”

But recently, when someone asked me this question in real life, calmly and curiously, I answered without hesitation. By the end of our conversation, they were nodding along. They understood.

That moment made me realize something important. Many trans people intuitively know the answer. We just have not always been given the words, the framing, or the support to say it clearly.

This article is for you. It is for your friends, your family, and the genuinely curious.

It is a guide to help you respond confidently, calmly, and truthfully when someone asks, “What rights have you lost?”

First, Let’s Be Honest About the Question

Before we dive into crafting good answers, it is important to understand the landscape around this question.

When TERFs (Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists) or GCs (Gender Criticals) ask it, it is often a trap. It is framed to paint trans people as irrational, emotional, or attention-seeking while pretending to be neutral and inquisitive. It is not neutrality. It is skepticism disguised as curiosity.

But not every person who asks this question is acting in bad faith. Some are genuinely unaware of the scope of what trans people are facing. Some have only heard distorted narratives. Some are asking because they truly want to understand.

Recognizing the difference can help you decide how to respond. Being prepared allows you to speak from a place of clarity and strength. Now, let’s talk about what those answers can actually sound like.

Here’s How I Answer It

When someone asks me, “What rights have you lost?” I start simply and plainly:

“The right to exist safely, to access healthcare, to participate in public life without discrimination, and to have the law protect me like it protects everyone else.”

It is short. It is direct. Jargon does not obscure its meaning. Most importantly, it is true.

Each part of that sentence points to a real area of life where rights have been stripped away or endangered for transgender people. In the next sections, we will break these areas down so you can see just how deep and wide these losses run.
