I don't know, as someone lucky enough to own a 5090 I'm curious to try this out. I do understand the resistance - this isn't what the original artists intended. And it's AI frames. And it's a performance hit. And it's a slippery slope. Etc etc.

But I've also seen a few instances of devs being hesitantly supportive, like Daniel Vavra, of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

It seems (to my untrained eyes) to just force the lighting to look more realistic? Maybe it's interpolating some fake detail? I don't know. I'm sure it will look horrible on a majority of games. But maybe there are a few instances, perhaps older titles, where it will actually help?

This is as bad as the tech is ever going to be, and it's purely optional. Sure I wish Nvidia would focus their efforts elsewhere, but otherwise it seems pretty harmless? Feel free to tell me how wrong I am, I don't know that much about it all.

This appears to be game dependent and I'm not sure why. COD MW 2019 for example has no noticeable artifacts whatsoever. KCD2 on the other hand becomes a noisy catastrophe in dark scenes. A general flaw of political analysis is that unless you're the Marxist weirdos who view everything through a projected Lacian/Freudian prism that neither would have recognized nobody applies basic social psychology to the operation of political institutions. This also colors () the ignorant analysis about Hispanics, because there's an assumption that they should have racial/ethnic or even immigrant solidarity with illegal immigrants just because both groups are Hispanic, rather than despise them as is typical, recognize the differences between Central and South American ethnicities rather than as one Latinx blob or even hold views like "I left my country to get away from these people." The whole question of whether Palestinians are Arabs is an interesting one because if they are, then their claims of being indigenous to the area is then false.
