The issue that caused this is my verbal altercation with my neighbour due to them not caring how noisy they are at night. I was very respectful and calm throughout the argument, but they continued to shout and be disrespectful. They live above us in our flat block and there have been many nights that we woke up because of their carelessness. They usually awake till 2 in the morning.







I fear that this altercation would affect my family and I don't know how to deal with it mentally. I have depression and although I have a functioning depression, this incident has really been triggering. I'm still shaking after 24 hours.







Usually, in cases like this when I am very depressed I can read, watch a movie or listen to music to ground myself but now nothing works. And I can't reach my psychologist due to them taking a few days of hol

I grew up in NYC myself so I'm very familiar with POCs using the word like you would use "dude". I used it as a teen. Everyone used it. I mean everyone. Meaning like dude. And no one cared. But we were dumb kids.

I know in previous generations, Fat Joe got a pass using the word. But it seems he's getting more pushback now. Personally, I don't think he should use the world. He's clearly white Puerto Rican. I guess some context: my father has multi system atrophy type c and has been deteriorating over the past decade. My life has been a bit of a fucking mess and my sister and brother in law are moving across the country to escape it and it's got me in the worst fucking position, but there's nothing I can do because I couldn't live with myself abandoning him and my mother.



He has a home health aide that comes in Monday through Friday so I can safely get groceries and take care of my grandmother in a nursing home with dementia, as well as job hunt (which has been its own fresh hell). Every other day we have a nurse come in to dress open wounds that don't properly heal.



My mother tends to get into conversations about politics because she cannot stand Trump or the Republican Party (rightfully so). She gets a read on peoples' political leanings and goes head on with it. The nurse that came to dress Dad's wounds this time is a self described moderate that's registered as a Democrat and listens to Bill Maher and Stephen A Smith. He describes what's happening in Cuba under a socialist government as a reason he can never trust people like AOC or Bernie and Mamdani. How he thought that sliding in to socialism was a far right conspiracy theory until he saw what was happening in Cuba.



He goes on to talk about how there's a 90/10 split for both parties and the 10% is the loudest online and will drag each side into a mire which will make them lose the moderate voter. About how he doesn't want his two daughters to have to go into a bathroom with a grown man. About how Democrats will lose the midterms because "they can't agree that man isn't a woman and a woman isn't a man."



How in the ever loving fuck can medical professionals fall for this shit? What do we even do to address this? Is there anything? Are we all just fucked?

Its existence has tanked the public opinion on the game and may lead to closure and layoffs, if you think about it. Hopefully not but it feels like that. They made a gigantic error by including it as that now dominates the conversation.

I'm not saying it's the reviewer's fault - but that's what the audience has grabbed onto. That's reality, is it not? That feature is a deathknell for the game.

I have very high standards, thank you very much, but I think I view games through a different lens forged by decades of experience and an understanding of how they are made. It means that my viewpoint does not align with the masses or the usual conversations in many cases.

I'm seeing it in places that you wouldn't normally expect is all which makes me think it's spreading pretty wide. We've seen this kinda thing before. I think it will have a serious effect on the success.
