I absolutely hate how people talk about this game, just bubbling with glee at the thought of it getting canceled. It has never deserved the treatment it gets, but this is game discussion now, as we all know.



Sorry but this just gets me so mad. It's my favorite game of the year by a long shot. The most interesting shooter I've played in *years*. I haven't been into lore like this since the early years of the Souls games, and yet, every thread or comments section on this game is just full of people are who just itching to see it (and Bungie) die. By no fault of the actual game, mind you. It's always some bullshit like "they should make a single player game" or "D3!"



Anyway, as a current, daily player of this game this update is both hugely exciting and a massive bummer. I'm very excited about all the new ideas, but, bummed that they're delaying it so far away *and* stepping away from seasonal timelines. It certainly does read to me like one last push to get people to openly try engaging with it in good faith before at least ceasing support.



God, I still hope it works, because it a better world, this game would be massive.

We were actively fighting off bathroom bans at every turn and making progress in terms of government documents and medical care and all of that. At some point between then and now, something went wrong and I just don't know what it is. We went from winning this fight and making real strides to Trump using trans people as a cudgel and running an incredibly anti-trans campaign and winning. It's like a decade of progress just vanished overnight.

It is remarkable that North Carolina's 2016 bathroom bill caused a huge backlash (NBA moving the 2017 all Star game) and less than 10 years later Trans Visibility has made the 2016 policy mainstream.
