I'm sure a lot of you know the former site we do not mention much round here, I check it every now and then and saw their thread on this sad topic and was just absolutely shocked by what I saw, encouraging and all for the bombing of innocents, calling all Palestinians or those who support them terrorists or Hamas sympathisers, and none of them allowing any free speech regarding what the IDF have done to innocents.

Countless posters I quite liked on there have been insta banned for merely trying to come at this from a human standpoint and trying to see the value in peace.

I guess it's just my way of saying thanks for not being like them and actually allowing discussion on these topics, where we can actually nuanced conversation and talk like adults instead of, well, them.

Almost sounded sane until the last part. Did someone at some Discord forced him to made a post sucking to the Mods?

Sometimes I am 1000% convinced that you could make me a CEO of almost any company, and I could sit there in a chair and do absolutely nothing, and achieve better results. And my asking price is way cheaper. Like $150,000 a year. Give me that and I'll just sit in my office and do nothing for awhile.

As someone who works in a big company and deals with other big companies daily, you would be wrong :p to become a CEO in the first place you have to do the hard yards and you have so much responsibility. Like people take the piss out of Kotick for instance - rightfully so - but Activision was struggling until he came along, he transformed that company. Did he transform it for the better? That's up to interpretation.

On the other side of the coin I'm just as capable as running a company into the ground, collecting a few million dollar salary, then golden parachuting my way into the next company. Hell, we all are. It's not a special talent.

Also $150K is way too much of an asking price. Many of the top CEOs take token $1 salaries with the actual compensation in perks and stock. Power is far more important than salary you have to give half away in taxes.

edit: Even Kotick did this after he got criticized, he was taking the huge salary because he could, not because he needed it.

CEO or any kind of leadership position sounds like agony. I’m sort of middling of the food chain, and catching flack for mistakes of those under me is aggravating. Worst part is when shows like Entourage lied about being able to bring a paintball gun into work and fire people. I have to use tact and patience and lame shit like that. Can’t even call it lame without the HR girls getting on my ass about no-no words. And if I come in drunk again and unleash a flurry of gamer language, then my boss’s boss has to apologize for my actions.

Closest thing they had to a CEO was Cerium, and he apparently hoarded all the cash from ads, made everyone work as volunteers so hard that they begged to continue to be volunteers after he sold it for millions of dollars and kept the money, and took the longest nap known to man (previous record was just 8 days - Cerium is going on years now!).

My honest response: those old movies and accompanying media defining TMNT after several reboots is notable. Yet another reboot came out a couple weeks ago and is already forgotten.

Rotten Tomatoes is junk. The only critic voice that matters is Armond White.

the costumes were fuckin dope and to this day CG still does not compare to high quality practical effects (made by Henson)

the costumes in the third movie were shit, i.e. it's not just about age/nostalgia but recognizing craftsmanship
