It's the usual 80/20 rule where 80% of the activity is from 20% of the users. They're the ones who make the site a great aggregator of gaming news.

The problem is that those are the same fucking idiots who also make the forum unbearable because with the autism comes the cross dressing fantasies, the carrot theories of economic development, the comic book movie worship, the anime paedo defense, the gestapo moderation, and the depression and suicide undercurrents.

Just like how them making an issue about a rapist of women trying to get into a women's prison was a losing issue, making an issue of a rape victim not being charitable to their rapist's pronoun preferences is also a losing battle in the public sphere.
