This could genuinely be a problem for Switch 2. Just think about it, big AAA game comes out, let's say Far Cry 7. You *could* play it on the Switch 2, where portable and docked it will likely run at sub-Series S settings, 30fps, etc. - while the PS5 + Portal combo gets you much higher fidelity across both modes. On top of that, being a streaming tablet helps with things like battery life or ergonomics, which are likely to be an issue with Switch 2.

Okay, so i don't get it, this post wasn't trolling Claire is actually good trans representation. She's in game that handled some stuff poorly but she was not done poorly. Like, she is a good trans character played by a trans actress.

The point isn't to pick at these and be like "lol ackshually it's purple and that's a checkerboard blue" it's to understand this is an animation and these details were considered. That marvel/sony execs would never allow for Gwen to be explicitly trans so the best anyone could hope for is for her to be trans coded, which is what we got.

We could flip this and I could ask you why you believe she's cisgender. What do you have that she is? Why is it that the baseline assumption is that every character must be cisgender with a bar in the stratosphere before people accept they might be trans? To where you go at it with the intent of trying to invalidate the elements that point toward her being trans instead of coming up with reasoning for why she's cis.

So I find it like, super hard to believe your intent wasn't to nitpick one aspect with the intention of disproving it when every single post in this thread has been about doing just that.

I saw that spider film. They definitely paint Gwen as trans for cats that want to read it that way, the reset cats aren’t making that up whole cloth. I felt like it was ‘trans bait’ though. I have no doubts that if pressed, the studio would admit she’s cis, but they definitely made some choices that fuel the conversation.

I don’t think it’s accidental that this stuff often revolves around gigantic mega properties from huge studios.
