It's just crazy in retrospect that Tony couldn't get Punk and the Elite to put their differences aside and do business. They had lightning in a bottle after Brawl Out.

It's hard to put aside your differences when one spends half an hour burying you and your friends in a press conference, then you assault them when they come to your room to talk about it with HR and Talent Relations.
Then you're given your own show to do your own thing with all your friends, and at the biggest ppv of the year you assault the owner of the company and get in a fight with another talent backstage after your match causing equipment to get destroyed...

Hell, Kenny was willing to work with him, and the bucks were ready to sit down and have a meeting with him with the stipulation of 6 months with no incident, until he did it and ran his mouth again after cameras "stopped" on colission.

At this point Punk isn't lightning in a bottle, he's a liability and a ratings spike that'll fall off in time, and then he'll do what he always does and go into business for himself.

COVID caused the Fed to finally print all the money they should've slowly introduced into the economy from 2010 - 2020 along with raising rates. 10 years of sleeping on the job was forced into a 24 month period of inflationary policy and resulted in the dollar's value eroding overnight. As always, wages started following suit, and are reaching equilibrium with inflation.

What isn't happening yet is people's perception of prices normalizing because it takes our brains a long time to accept that $18 is the new $15. Some of the biggest labor unions in the country just got raises as little as a week ago so of course it hasn't gotten into people's heads yet.

The global economy is fucked to high heavens. Government debts will balloon soon due to rising interest rates and because they spend it all on dumb shit like 'Climate', 'Inclusivity' and 'Equity' that cannot be measured in GDP output. I watched our government spend like crazy for 2 years with no real effect and now they can't even keep energy prices under control(up 900%), handing the country over to Geert Wilders who didn't even run any ads and barely campaigned.

Economically Germany is in an even worse place than we are, that does not bode well for Yurop. Asia? Totally fucked, Japan has been fucked for years but China is ageing and literally dying, their hospitals can't cope. As for Russia, well the war economy works out well for them in theory but they had to buy artillery shells from North Korea and they aren't producing anything but dead bodies and military disasters. South America? After inflation soared to like 9000% or whatever the fuck, Milei won. The commies didn't even try to kill him, which tells you they had absolutely no idea what to do and might actually be happy he's running that shit show. Africa? Those military coups are the direct result of rising costs. For us in the west that means buying 1 game instead of 2, for folks in shitholes it means not eating (which is why they're headed this way).

This is the only real quote anyone posted here that shows it but I want to point out that Thordinson's entire spiel is based on a logical fallacy/statistical ignorance/etc., namely that what he's seeing in one specific location is somehow representative of the whole national economy. That one poster pointed this out in a bit of a longwinded way but didn't get straight to the nut of why his "lived experience" (gleaned from Twitter) doesn't necessarily mean anything.
